DS forward compartment cutoff

There’s a cutoff in the DS forward most compartment. Any idea what the cutoff controls?

Can’t believe no one else has this cutoff.

Tom, it looks like the battery cutoff they are now putting at the rear of the coach in the chassis battery compartment. On the newer models, it is the cutoff for the starting batteries. Turn it off an see if the coach will start.

Sorry, I can't help on that one. None of the three Entegras I have owned had that cutoff.

What is the device right of the picture that the red wire goes into through the grommet.

The relay above might be for battery boost.

As stated, turn it off and see what stopped working. Might be house battery to 12V house electrical system cut off.

Isn't that the main 12-volt relay to which the hard switch is connected? If so, it's a convenient switch when doing work in that area, in addition to the usual "salesman's" switch elsewhere.

Here’s a picture of the entire bay.

Sorry - our coach has the same switch; however, although I turn it off every time we store our coach, I have no idea what it controls...

So, I’d be willing to bet that if you were to turn that switch to the off position everything listed on the two boxes to the right would lose power.

Have you tried Turing that switch off and verifying what works and what doesn’t? That’s what I would do.

On my coach, the switch that is in the chassis battery bay is there to cutoff the ignition. It’s a safety switch for when the engine is being worked on so that nobody can start the engine.

Is DS = Door side, or driver side (ODS=Opposite Door Side)? (they make that confusing)

Looks like the bay under the drivers seat - no cut off switch like that on mine either? Turn it off and try the power seats.

DS = drivers side. Will flick switches when I’m at the coach next.

It's not really a cutoff switch but a resettable, high amperage circuit breaker. Chances are it's for the circuits shown on the panel to the right.
