We recently replaced ours with Lifeline also. I spoke with Entegra Support and they ran me through a complete setup. Not near the coach so can't share the settings. But I suggest the same 4U

I thought that was what you were saying! Thanks! I appreciate your help on this!

Finally got out to the coach tonight. Hate it when life interrupts the more interesting stuff. The inverter/ charger is a Magnum M2812. Picture attached.
Setting showing the 50% setting also attached.
Thanks in advance for the help!

Mike,
Most flooded batteries can take a charge between 10-15% of the battery bank “C” rating. Yours is a 630 AH bank. 10% would be 63 amp charge. 15% would be a 94.5 amp charge.
Keep in mind that while the coach is being used you are using some of the charge amps to power things like lights, furnace fans, radio, etc so the entire charger output is NOT going to charge the batteries. You have a 125 amp charger in that Magnum inverter. For your setup I would set the charge rate to 70% which will be 87.5 AH. This will give you a net charge of about 12% of your “C” rating (75.6 AH) which should do no harm to your battery bank. If you store your coach in the off season and it is plugged in I would drop the charge rate to 50-60%.

Thanks. Wwith the 50% charge rate setting I am seeing 55 Amps going into the bank in "bulk charge" mode. I will have to look to see if there is a ~70% setting; as I recall it was 50% or 100%. I may try 100% to see if that truly doubles the charge amps. If so, that will be too high a rate and I will return it to 50%.
I have the bank capacity set to 800AH, I wonder if the charge rate is adjusted according to the bank capacity, if so, maybe reducing the capacity and increasing the rate to 100% will get me closer to optimal. Then again, there may be a limited number of choices for bank capacity, too.
Thanks again for the help on this.
I presume your "screen name" refers to your aviation career - I started my career working on flight management for that aircraft (and its sister 767) back when we did not know how to spell FMS - too many years ago.

Mike,
If you only have the choices of 50% or 100% rate of charge I would stick with the 50%.
With the Magnum inverter/chargers battery bank size controls the Absorb time only. To get proper full charge I would leave it at 800 AH vs. setting at 600 AH. If you had a setting of 700 AH that would be ideal.
