ECP Protection

Good morning! We are back into RVing. Purchasing a 2020 Entegra Esteem. The dealer
is recommending the ECP Platinum Protection System (clear coat). Do you feel it is necessary ($1995)? So much was said to us about the Entegra paint application and finish. Seems like a big expense. Any response will be appreciated. Thank you.

In my opinion that is a dealer scam and not worth the money.

Absolutist not! Here is about the same thing they will use. I asked our Lincoln dealer how long it lasted and they told me it would have to be refreshed every year for about $500. Amazon price $16.

Thank You

The replies were very helpful. We are going to skip the ECP protection. Thanks for helping us.

Much to our advantage the dealer put on the ECP coating thinking we wanted it. After refusing to pay, they dropped the charge!
