I have only used the repeater several times, once I'm sure it will work in this location I will shorten up the wires so it will look better

I did the installation. I installed an illuminated switch purchased from Auto Zone and notched the light fixture on the back side for wire clearance.

Well, pretend that the left side of the photo is up.

I have the EEZ too and so far so good. I'm looking for any detailed instructions on how to install the tow car repeater into the back of our Aspire 42DEQ. They suggest the light in the closet but I'm not really handy electrically, so could use some instruction.

Does that exist somewhere?

Thank you!

Did mine in my rear closet(2012 Itasca Ellipse). Use the lite in the closet. Just tap into the wires and away you go.. I believe the color codes are the same.

If you want easy just go to Harbor Freight and pick up some of the large clips like those in the photos. I mounted the repeater on the back wall of the battery compartment. Signal reaches just fine.

I installed ours in the cabinet behind the bedroom TV. I had used it there for awhile running off a small 120AC to 12DC inverter with a cigarette lighter plug. Once satisfied the location worked well I cut the plug off and tied it into a lighting circuit in a space between that cabinet and the cabinet over the PS bedroom window.

Same way I did mine after wiring LED lights to the closet light. I figured doing the "quick disconnect" I can un-clip it at the end of travel season and not have wear on the unit as I am powered up while in storage.

I tapped into the engine compartment light. Included a switch to turn it off when not in use. Very easy.

Put it somewhere that you don't see it all the time. It blinks, would drive you crazy after awhile.

I have mine mounted just below the sliding doors of the rear closet. The wire is tucked down along the lower slides, not in the actual track but next to it, and wired to an unused breaker. My 12 volt breakers are in the closet. I also installed a switch so it is not on all the time.
