We have 2 of those scooters gathering dust in our garage. My husband rode a Goldwing for decades so he was used to using a throttle. I, on the other hand, was not. The throttle on that scooter was too touchy for me. More than once, a bump caused me to grab that handle & with enough twist I lost control of the scooter. I was too scared to ride it anymore. Plus, when we found out we couldn't use them on our rails-to-trails, that was it for them AFAIC.
That's when we got the e-bikes.

Electric Bikes
Kuat NV 2.0 on the back of the MH and Flex. Rated at 60 lbs each.
Don’t know if you would scrape. As you can see we are plenty high with the dual receiver.

For those accessorizing ebikes and do not mind the 2 week shipping time, this site is pennies on the $ against Amazon. One example is the Suntour seat post. Amazon price, $112. with 2 week delivery time. AliExpress $65. same delivery time. I have purchased other items 1/2 price of of other online locations. Drawback is the wait time, but I am in no hurry . https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale...itch_new_app=y

Chuck,
That site is Alibaba, the Chinese version of Amazon. There are some great buys on there but often you have to buy in volume on some items and you are not always sure of the quality.

Ed, the main thing I have been purchasing are name brand items such as the Suntour seat post. I do have a couple of items purchased that I read the USA reviews on. They were only $1.50 so I won't be out much. That same item on Amazon was $14.00. It was a handlebar bell.

Like you I usually find that Amazon is more than a bit of rip. My bike was listed on Amazon for $1499. I paid less than $1,000. If I could find a need to buy five of them I could go even cheaper.

I'm also looking at the Hollywood bike racks. Look like they are a good buy. Anyone have any experience with them?

Took a long time but finally found a really nice bike rack for the bed of my mid sized truck.
Ride88: https://www.ride88.com/rack-systems
Expensive, but built like a tank. We got the QR3 Triple.
In our case finding a rack system for both the wife's trike and my fat tire semi-recumbent was a long road that FINALLY paid dividends.
The clam shell style with break over center toggle clamps are not only easy, but extremely secure. The long wheelbase semi-recumbent is secure and stable enough not to require any additional tie down straps for a normal 50 mile or less trip. I did fit up some tie downs for our 1,000 mile trips.
I will say with the 30" wide trike it just barely fit in my Colorado bed.
For anyone trying to find a bed mount racks system, take a look at Ride88. They don't advertise very well, but could not have been easier to work with to answer my questions.
Best of all, the rack breaks down into four separate pieces that are easy to remove and well less than 20lb each. Finally, no drilling into the bed!

As we have looked at various hitch racks, my concern is the potential for the hitch rack to drag on a dip. We have an issue on the end of our road with the mud flap dragging and I'm sure the hitch rack will do the same. We could use a hitch extender to bring the height up a few inches to get the proper clearance. That may be the route I will go.
Another question that comes up is there a bike rack out there that anyone has come across that allows for a combination of fat tire and narrow tire bikes. I haven't seen one in my travels yet.

Racks with the loops on the bottom that the wheels sit on are adjustable and can accommodate different styles of tires

Hollywood Racks updated their website to make it easier to tell which of their racks can be used on the back of the coach. This one can be ordered for one Fat tire one normal:
https://hollywoodracks.com/collectio...19301507039301
The only problem I had with the hollywood rack, was once it was configured for our trike with narrow tires and my fat tire bike it was right at 100# and not easily broke down to more manageable pieces. Though for two two-wheel bikes it is probably closer to 60#.
The rack I just posted above works with both size tires and they are interchangeable. However, Ride88 seems to only make pickup bed mount type racks.
Below is a picture of the hollywood rack I linked to above, with optional parts for a trike. The fat tire loops are furthest away, and the three narrower loops are for a narrow tire trike.
