I am want to replace the electric fireplace with a fireplace that has a digital display and I can set the auto temperature to go on and go off.

The one I have now will not do that, I am not aware if it will do the or not. Two switches and nobs.

Any recommendations?

The knobs on mine adjust the light brightness, and the other acts like a thermostat that does cycle the heat on and off, but not the whole unit. Can't remember the switch (seems, and one turns on the power on and off to the unit, and the other is for the heat part to be active, or not)

I don't know which specific electric fireplace Entegra installed, but many of these units have a wall-mounted thermostat available as an option. Have you downloaded the manual for your fireplace to check if it's as simple as adding a thermostat to what you already have?

I am not sure of the make of your fireplace. In mine is a Dimplex, which does make a thermostat for electric firplace control. Maybe you could call and see if they have a model that will fit the opening if you are not looking to modify the existing unit. They were very helpful when I replaced mine a few years ago.

Mine is a Demplex, not sure what your floor plan is, mine is a 45k and the fireplace is below the big TV. I am not sure the curved fireplace would work, but I will reach out to both companies to see what would work.

Hi Suzzanne,

As indicated in my signature, my '18 Anthem is a 42DEQ. That floorplan also features the fireplace below a 50" Samsung TV. Although the glass is curved, it doesn't protrude farther out than the metal framework that surrounds the glass.

Good luck finding something that meets your needs/desires.
