Electric steps

2016 Cornerstone electric steps lack about 3 from fully retracting. I have power washed lubed and relubed numerous times with no results. They will retract if you assist with hammer handle. Can anyone tell me the part # on Amazon for the motor and the module?

I believe you have either a 47 or 42 series step. The part numbers are the same for the module and the motor for both series. I would guess you can find them on amazon by those numbers.

I know you said you cleaned them and lubed them. My steps do the same thing if they get even a minor amount of grit or anything in the tracks. The steps are very heavy and difficult to clean the tracks. I have rebuilt mine twice and was surprised how difficult it was to move the steps in and out manually x10 if any dirt or road grit is present. I.found that the best way for me to get the track clean is get under the steps with a couple cans of brake cleaner and start spraying. Even better if you can get someone to make the steps go in and out. Good luck! I really dont think it is the motor oR controller. The motor turns in one direction until it runs into resistance and then stops. Next operation is in the other direction. Hope this helps. MLu

You can order directly from Lippert who owns Kwikee now. Also they will help you figure out which model you have. They helped me and are good to deal with..
