As a retired Police Officer of over 30 years, I would like to offer that the best information for medical personnel to assist in treating YOU would be the contact information of your primary physician or the physician that treats your most serious issue. Having worked countless incidents of people from out of town and out of the country (I worked in a city just outside of New Orleans, La) this information is what the Emergency Room Personnel will look for in your personal belongings. I would suggest that you list contact information for the next of kin or "In Case of Emergency" which in most cases will be the only other person contacted by either the police, medical personnel or even worst the Coroner. That person would then have the responsibility to take care of the rest. Your note would then assist that person in taking care of the cats and coach. As your note does contain good information I would suggest that you add to the list the location of the required medicine inside the coach that the cat needs. I hope and pray that this information is never needed!

Florida has a program where you register with them your next of kin etc ... in case you are in an accident they'll know who to call. It came about after a young girl was fatally injured but they couldn't figure out who to call so she died alone. See if your state DOT or State Troopers has such a program.

Gary (and others) great information. We try to always travel with our medicine lists printed out but don't have emergency contact or primary doctor information. I especially like the "we staying at: ". In our case, our emergency contact might change based on whether we're down south or up north.

BTW, I also have Temp Stick, and I've been looking for another choice. I've found out the Temp Stick only updates once an hour regardless of temperature. So if power goes out say 30 mins before reporting time, the temp alarm might not alert the first time, but may be seriously more than I would prefer by the second hour. It seems all alerting is done by the website servers not the unit itself. I realize our dogs (and probably your cats) would probably survive a couple of hours of moderately high heat, but I see the way the alert is generated as a serious flaw. I'd much prefer the sensor itself be smart enough to send either an alert or updated temperature immediately when temperature gets too high.

We are updating our personal cards and like the additional info suggested.

ICE, we have friends who have authorization to our safe deposit box to access insurance papers, wills, etc. probably no news there, but it lead me to how do they know where we are or if we might be in trouble.

Maybe others have been doing this already, but we decided to send/share our current location each time we move with text as to duration. This way they can be suspicious if we don’t update. Easy to text back, “you ok?”, etc.

Regardless of your cell plan, there are vast stretches of Interstate, highways with no cell service. We are considering a SAT phone.

Our on-board temp stick reports to our ATT Mobley. As we all know, one place we stop the Mobley is wall-to-wall with the cell tower and another place we stop, there is no ATT tower anywhere, which is why we have both an ATT Mobley and a Verizon MIFI cell router. However, while the house TempStick lasts for months on its batteries, the coach Temp Stick will burn through batteries quickly and we constantly need to check that transmitter to ensure battery life.

I guess there are alternatives, but I'm not aware of anything better.

Of course, I also set the AGS every time we leave the coach for any significant day trip. The reason that I include brothers and sisters in my phone list is that they know generally what we do and where we go and they know when we are on the road, so a call from a hospital or state police office would not be a surprise.... they know it could be from anywhere.

As we all get older, our list of meds gets longer (sadly)(I used to quietly laugh at the old geezers I saw in the doctor's offices with a plastic Ziplock bag full of med bottles and blister packs.... now, not so much.... ). I think I am going to add our med-lists to the back of my wallet information sheet we both carry. I think that is a prudent addition.

Cat on board

Wow lots information I did not think about. Been RVing for only one year. When we leave our cat in the motorhome to go exploring I always put a post-it note in my wallet with a message “Cat in motorhome at “ then put the name of the RV park and the site#. Also I bought two Reolink cameras to monitor the inside of the coach while we are out. It connects to the RV parks router and live streams. I can see and hear what is going on inside through my cell phone. It’s ok, sometimes it is hard to connect to the router. We normally stay in places that have internet. Thanks for the awesome information.

Contact info

This is a good idea. We had something happen when I was working in Bay City Tx. Working nights & asleep when my wife had gone out shopping. She ran a red light she didn’tt see & was hit by another car. She was taking to the hospital. She was okay but lucky she had put the rv parks card in her purse. She call Hwy 60 rv park & the woman came to the coach & knocked on the door. She took me to the hospital & got my wife then took us to a rental car place.
We tanked her several times.

By the way Gary u said older Diesel engines need T-4 oil. What do u call older??
We have a 15 Aspire with the 450hp ISL
Thanks bruce

Wanted to update these ideas with an app that was new to me. (Thanks John if you are reading this).

It is called Life360. Apple and Android versions available.

You can select your circle of friends that you want and it provides real time gps info on your location. There is also crash detection and other features that I think are of value for full timers.
So, in addition to having current location on our cards, and now Life360, we share our itinerary through RV Parky for each leg.
With no children, our friends are our only safety net for knowing where we are. They will now have a general overall of where we should be and real time gps.
