End of a great ride

After almost 40 years with 6 motorhomes 3 gassers and 3 pushers Carolyn and I have sold our Anthem, what a great coach.

We do this with mixed emotions but it’s the right move for us. There is no Heath issues we just feel it’s time to this with the used market really strong right now.
We were only out once last year, these coaches are made to travel not sit in the garage.

I really enjoyed working on the coach, i did all the service, oil changes and lube. I feel it’s a good idea as a owner to get down and under the coach to check things out. I have discovered issues that needed attention like a air line that had damage from a rub, that I replaced before leaving on a trip. This hose went to the spring side of a rear brake camber if it had failed the spring would had set the brake on that wheel.

Entegra has always proved great support, and this forum has great and interesting information. You folks on this forum are always helpful to other members and willing to help.

So with that I say good bye but I will be hanging around the forum to make sure everyone stays in line[emoji3].

Safe and fun travels to all of you guys,
Richard

Richard

I am personally sorry to read your thread here. I enjoyed meeting you and your wife in Spearfish and I have always valued reading the posts of a coach owners who was also in the commercial trucking industry..... You guys often have a perspective that is fundamentally different from the typical coach owners.

Also, over the years, you have helped me solve more than a couple of problems that had me scratching my head. Glad to hear your withdrawal from the coach business is not due to medical issues and is due to a rational analysis that this is the right time to get out.

Don't be a stranger. Always nice to see your Gasman2 icon. Good health to both of you and take care.

Gary

Thanks everyone for your kinds words.

It’s truly been a pleasure to be a part of the Entegra forum sharing information and learning. I think I have read every post since becoming a member. That’s the great part about this forum is leaning and making the life style more exciting and enjoyable.

I now have an empty RV garage, kind of strange to walk in there and no coach.
So if anyone needs an oil change and lube job I have a vacancy.

Safe and fun travels to all,

Richard

Yes Goldie and Rick,

I did a lot of tinkering on the coach, may of did more time tinkering than in the driver’s seat.
I have also followed your post from the time your Aspire was totaled.
So stop by when our way, we are not hard to find.

Richard

Over the years every motorhome or trailer I've sold has been my last. Just bought a new 25' bumper pull. They get smaller and easier as I get older.
