Very good point. The Travel Supreme the dash air did not work well. Back then everyone said that is as good as it gets as the lines were so long the coolant was warm by the time it got to the dash. I let it go at that and ran the roof air for many years, never having a problem. On the 14, I chased the AC ghost for a year before having the system replaced. Next time I will probably go back to the yours and the Travel Supreme method.

….interesting--actual cooling doesn't occur until the compressed 134a from the compressor expands at the expansion valve, which is usually right next to/near the evap. coil on the dash...having said that, I am familiar with "ghost" RV AC issues so I am a "believer", just not the reason being long hose runs....
PS--a 134a hose connection leak or permeation thru the hose material--perhaps.

I know that now, just stating what was said in the "old days". Ran the Travel Supreme for 11 years with roof air, never really missed the dash air

Why dont you call Spartan CS and get the actual belt numbers and dimensions for your coach?

I dont think that any of us can guarantee that we have exactly the same belts on our coaches that you have on yours. You can call Spartan, probably call Entegra, or take it off and take it to NAPA and have them find you the replacement.

I DOUBT VERY MUCH that your new belt is anywhere near that kind of money. I already told you that the serpentine belt on my Cornerstone (but different year and different engine) cost me $50.

The large belt is 4 inches wide and looks to have 9 to 12 ribs

New filters, belts and fluids all models

My mechanical fan belt is a 12 rib belt, does anyone know how many inches the belt is?

Another thread on the same belt... supposedly 1/3 the cost

Also, rather than a 12 rib belt, use 2 6 rib belts...

Thanks,

That belt in the post ended in 003 and mine ends in 004. Not sure how safe 2 belts would be

Dragsters do it all the time I believe...redundancy in case 1 belt fails...
