Smile Entegra Aspire Spec. Observations

We are trading for a 2012 Aspire and were wondering about three items that we considered sub-par. Maybe someone can help us out.
1. Only four house batteries and it has a residential ref. Most mfg. have six with two for the refrigerator.
2. Jacks are mfg. by Equalizer, do not anything about them, thought most mfgs. install HWH systems. What gives?
3. Cheezy old time wind up over antenna , same one from 15 years ago, newer compact , not wind up ones being used by other mfgs. across board.

So not get us wrong , we love our decision to buy this coach but were wondering on Entegra"s thinking on these three items.

The Equalizer Leveling system is hydraulic down and up, both. HWH and many other levelers are hydraulic down then spring up. Many times getting stuck in the mud and so on. We have had this coach for a while now and have yet to have any issues.

The Cheeay old wind up antenna, you will be glad to know is being replaced by the push button auto system that's in the Anthem.

As far as the batteries go, We have not had any issues running the Res Fridge at all with the four house batteries. But, there is room for another tray if you find this an issue.

Smile

We have been living in our 2011 Aspire since Nov 2011 and have not had any issues with the jacks.

We have not boondocked so cannot tell you about battery life off the electric pole except we had no issues with our drive from Okeechobee Florida to Denver Colorado in April.

Never thought about the antenna but after having the winegard in motion satellite receiver, the issue of 3 HD satellites with Dish and only being able to see one satellite at a time, we went back to lazy days and had the upgraded winegard satellite receiver installed. Now we can watch any channel on any tv at any time. Major improvement to domestic tranquility in our household. LOL

Hope this helps.
