Entegra Bedding Stuff

New coaches come with pillows and bedspread (and some other furnishings). Just curious about what others do with these items? We use other more comfortable bedding. We have stored the stuff for when we sell the coach. Is this sensible or should we just get rid of these unused items?

When we traded previous coach (Cornerstone) the dealer did a 2 minute walk through and did not even start the engine. So when trading, I doubt there is any need for these items.

I honestly don't think it makes any difference because chances are whoever buys the coach will want their own decor. Ours are stored in the attic but don't really know why we're keeping them.

The first day we brought our coach home, we stripped all that "pretty" but absolutely needless/superfluous stuff off the bed, put it in sealed bags, which are in storage. The next time they may see the light of day will be the day we sell the coach or give it to a dealer to sell. Amazing amount of money spent on absolutely needless stuff on an new coach.

I did the same as Gary. You never know what the next owner may or may not want.

The only thing we have found if any use are the living room throw pillows. They work great for stuffing in the cabinets above the sofas to keep things from moving/rattling.
Later...

We bagged all the bedding and pillows and put them in long term storage. Same reason, to put them back in coach for trade in/sale at some future date.

I sell my own coaches, so I try to have them looking as nice as the brochures when I go to re-sell. The bedding is in vacuum bags in a storage tub against the wall of my storage location. The additional profit of not trading in is worth the storage for me.

When you sell or trade your coach you need something in the line of a bedspread at least. All the sofa pillows are pretty much meaningless. Sometimes its hard to find what you want when outfitting a new coach with bedding, etc. In that case you may want to keep your bedding to transfer it to the next coach rather than try to hunt down some new bedding all over again. In that case I'd store the OEM bed spread to put on when you trade or sell the unit. If you don't have any particular desire to keep your replaced bedding when you sell then I wouldn't waste the attic space storing the OEM stuff.

At the last Homecoming, I brought up this very point to Pat Carroll at his "session". My suggestion, "let the dealers buy them for their on the lot presentation, but let those of us who order a rig opt out (with appropriate price reduction)". NOPE

We got rid of ours on all our campers. We sold our campers with the bed spread that we bought.

Vacuum bagged and stored for the next owner. Nice to save as much as we can to keep it original.
