Entegra Cornerstone Warranty Repairs
We purchased a 2021 Entegra Cornerstone that we absolutely love operating. The Cornerstone is certainly a great product but we have had significant issues getting LazyDays Tampa to perform Warranty repairs. We purchased it in February 2021 and after waiting 6 weeks for an appointment, we took it in for minor repairs in April. The Rv was in the shop for three weeks and we came to find out that they had not even looked at it yet. We had travel plans so we took it out and rescheduled for repairs on Nov 9, 2021. After two months in the shop this time, they still have not performed most of the repairs and are claiming that they are waiting on parts or specialists, and not able to give any ETA for repair completion.
Blis Sytem Failure - No idea when the will get a technician to look at
Slide out seal not complete (gap) - parts on order
Shower door does not seal properly - Need technician to inspect
Sliding door rubbing in bathroom - awaiting parts
Broken wood framing in forward electrical bay - waiting on cabinet shop
So can anyone give me some advice? Should I pull it again and find another dealer, should I schedule repairs at the factory, or do I need to be patient longer?
Certainly an extraordinary amount of time required for repairs.

I had the same problem with LD with the purchase of my 14. Their service, or lack there of, I did send my coach back to Entegra. Since then there is now NIRVC in Atlanta. I would call them to see if they are able to do your warranty work, and parts availablity. If not, schedule with the factory. From my experience, LD will not do a thing but lie. They will even lie about repairs they attempted to do, sometimes making it worse. Sorry you fell into the same trap I did my first time around.

LD was convincing me that it was COVID at the root of their delays. It sounds like my hunch of just poor management, poor service after the sale, is more the cause. I'll sit tight for another week to see if LD can provide parts delivery ETA's and service tech availabilities. After that, I will take your advice and give NIRVC a call. Thanks Chuck.

I called LD Tampa last week to schedule engine fluids and filters change and diagnose dash A/C freon leak on my 2017 Cornerstone. The appointment they set up is on June 1st, that's just to drop it off! Obviously I'm not going to wait 5 months for a oil change, they really need to get their act together. Does anyone have suggestions for shop near Tampa or Orlando to work on chassis (dash) A/C ?

Just over the bridge, This place harberson RV in Clearwater. I've used them for many years several different coaches. They did all the work on my 2017 anthem and will continue to work on my 2022 anthem. Not perfect, I don't think any place is. I'd rate them four out of five.

Mid-Florida diesel in Bartow. I've had good luck with them so far! They may stumble a bit on the dash air, I would talk to them about that issue. I finally got my dash air sorted out at the factory, they had an outside contractor come and and diagnose/fix it. One of the hoses between compressor and the evaporator had been clamped wrong and a hole had been rubbed through it....only cost $275 to replace the hose and still good 2 years later...

Half the baby boomers in America are currently in Florida for the winter! So getting anything repaired there is next to impossible unless you have a previous relationship. I would find out what parts they have to wait on then contact Entegra and complaint to them if you don’t like Lazydays’ response.
Also never leave your coach somewhere expecting it to be worked on. No matter who it is, they will always put it off for what’s in front of them! As much of a pain in the butt as it is, you have to stay with it!
As far as the dash air is concerned, find a truck air conditioning repair shop. In Tampa, you might try Marks Air. Not sure if they do rv’s but they have been doing truck air forever and are very familiar with these systems. Top notch people!

I would echo Nowabeachbum. You can not leave your MH and assume someone is going to look after it. I’ve been to Lazydays several times. I get the problems that can be fixed quickly taken care of on the spot. If parts need to be ordered, I schedule another appointment and return only after parts are confirmed. As others have mentioned NIRVC is always a solid choice.

Sometimes you can't stay with the coach.
I damaged several bay doors on mine and have it in a shop now.
It has been there since 11/22.
In defense of the shop, the parts are no longer available, so they are making new door frames and skins.
However, I went to see progress and found batteries dead. I asked why they did not turn batteries off the guy said we did.
I said, show me how you turned them off. He went to bay and pointed at my solar shut-off switch!
So now when I pick coach up I will need to make sure batteries are ok before leaving.

As for Lazy Days, I went there cash in hand to buy a Tiffin Allegro Bus. I called them (65 miles away) and they said they had it in stock and it was available. Got there, nothing and told them I would order a new one - they took my info and never called. I bought my first Reatta XL from RVOne and the most recent Anthem from the same folks.
I use RVOne Orlando - There techs are very knowledgeable. A bit hard getting appointments but they are very busy.
Independent RV in Winter Garden, FL for Spartan Chassis issues (they replaced a tag axle seal that was leaking). Nice people and I recently requested an appointment to update the software for the disappearing dash.
Cummins Orlando or Ocala, FL - both are excellent. The only down side is you have to leave it.
Josam's (Alignment/Tires/Shocks) - Awesome folks, had the Torsion Box recall completed and had them install balance masters on the steers. Barry is the Service Manager and is busy so don't give up.

I'd be interested in knowing if Entegra has changed their policy or availability for repair appointments, like Lazydays has. Until recently, both have been making appointments for repair time slots rather far into the future, but once checked in at appointment time, the interval between check in and when a tech looked at it in a maintenance bay was less than 24 hours. This was (and perhaps still is) even less for Entegra, since check in was typically before COB the day before work started. Now, Lazydays Tampa has gone to a days-or-weeks delay between check in and repair, with no initial diagnosis by a tech to dovetail parts procurement, delivery, and repair/service. Both have in the not-too-recent past been exemplary, but the lineal system of wait for check in/ diagnosis/ parts order/ parts delivery/ tech availability/ repair completion is unworkable for full timers who have no idea how long they will have to lease or rent a hotel room. It pretty much ruins a whole season for everyone else. It's time for the industry to step up and hire some professional project managers who know how to use PERT Chart software, or there will be a big change in the direction of consumer discretionary cash flow. Think sailboats, second homes, rental units, time share, post-pandemic cruise industry recovery, etc. Problem is, nobody in the RV business is at a pay grade high enough to make a sea change, except the owners who see the COVID year of banner sales as a windfall with no consequences downstream. At the same time, sales records were being shattered, COVID caused the replacement of a seasoned employees with a younger, less experienced workforce. It's no wonder that there have been reports in forums and letters-to-the editors of trade journals about long discrepancy lists among recent new RV buyers, and so many units parked among the maintenance bays that there is no more room, and a need to make the owner park it and wait their turn in an inefficient system. My recommendation is if you can't fix it yourself, don't buy it, and don't forget that even Entegra a couple of years back tried to deny parts to anyone except dealers. Fortunately they had someone in charge who believed in listening to feedback, and that policy was quickly rescinded.

If you are out near Middlebury, call Entegra's subcontractor for dash air:
Jeff Campbell (former employer of the dash air manufacurer, Evans Tempcon;
(574) 215-0839;
I have an email address of cstmair@aol.com, but I'm not sure if that's Jeff's.
A lot of these units which were installed at Spartan by Spartan's subcontractor MoRide, and not uncommonly had the (color coded) hot and cold lines reversed, so the unit blew (really) hot air.
On the roof mount ACs, try disconnecting the random time delay startup circuit if an otherwise healthy AC ceases to start the compressor. I had that happen on two out of three brand new ACs within hours of installation by Lazydays Tampa, and their tech showed me how to do that. The small time delay device with the dip switches is said to be a high failure rate device. Once you get the cover off, trace out the 120v line to find the time delay device, and disconnect it from the circuit.
