Entegra Dealer Service

So I take my Berkshire in for service at Buffalo RV. It was a scheduled service and I don't need the unit for a few weeks, but it was scheduled. When I got there they told me that it was going to be more than a few days because two Entegras had come in and they take priority.

I'm not complaining because I really don't need our Berkshire for a few weeks and the folks at Buffalo RV have always gone above and beyond for us, but I just thought that you Entegra owners out there would appreciate the extra service priority at Buffalo RV, which is part of RVOne for your particular brand.

It is nice to hear that Entegra gets priority but I would not be impressed with that level of service. If you scheduled your service in advance then you should be their priority. At the very least they should have contacted you and let you know that your service date had been changed. Very inconsiderate in my opinion.

Well said. I think they'll lose more business than they realize. Word spreads quick.

Dianne, I really did not look at it as being a negative. From my standpoint and theirs, they knew that I was not in a hurry to get my unit back and the two Entegras that had come in for service had to get back on the road. If I were on the highway and needed to get going I would be appreciative of that type of service. Had I been in a hurry to get mine back it would have been a different story, but when they knew they had some leeway they used it.

I have seen dealers sell a new unit and push its preparation in front of someone who was in for service. That is something I disagree with. Again, I did not see this as a negative and when they told me the situation I just smiled and said, "No problem!"

Now if I can just talk DW into ordering the Anthem..........

Ed, you're going to have to show her the pics from Summerfest...then tell her about spending a month in the area before it starts...then close the deal with the only way it happens is to order that Anthem in the next several months...then join the fun after tax season next year

Now you have one more reason why you need the Entegra. Like you needed more reasons. Might be getting time for you to just give up and make the move.....

Sorry to hear that.....very interesting though. I think I may have been one of the two Entegra's you are talking about.

I was taking delivery of my new Entegra; it was in their service bay. The technician told me that there was another Entegra delivery the next day that they had to get ready for.

We had a Forest River Georgetown and wanted to move up to a diesel. The Berkshire is a nice looking unit but they limited all their floor plans to bunkhouse only. Not impressed. The amenities do not match the Entegra IMHO. Either an Anthem or an Aspire would make your DW happy. We are working out some minor repairs with local repair techs with backing of Entegra.
I think RVOne should have honored your appt.
You will love the Entegras.

I know one of the Entegras that had arrived was an Aspire. I saw that one in the parking lot awaiting service when I pulled mine in. So it may very well have been yours.

Buffalo RV has been good to me so I have no complaints about the dealer ship. They have gone the extra mile for me more often than once so if I can help them out a little bit, then so be it.

I'm currently trying to see if we can get down to Hershey on Thursday. Maybe then we can get closer to the Entegra.

Ed
