Entegra Owners Video

Hi Everone

We have now owner and lived in our new Anthem 2016 model for a little over 5 weeks and although we have a list of issues (which I won't go into at this stage) we love it.

As always, great video. I do have one suggestion and that is to open slides "before levelling the coach"

stevedenesha is right about slides out before leveling. Entegra recommends (for good reason) that the slides always be operated with jacks up and on fully inflated airbags. You can sometimes get away with doing otherwise but depending on the slope etc, it could lead to slideout damage to not follow the recommendations.

I am really enjoying your videos. and your enthusiasm is a joy to see. Please look for PM that I have posted to you.

Very nice. I spent this morning watching them all. Glad you are enjoying your "camping car"

Slides out first while at ride height, takes a bit of thought since you (like most of us prior to an Entegra) were taught just the opposite. And the opposite makes more logical sense. PJ from Entegra explained to us at Spartan training that the slides are fit in perfectly at ride height when it is going down the assembly line - so it is important to put them out prior to leveling the coach while at ride height and also to put them in AFTER airing up to ride height.

Again, thank you for your documentation and allowing us to join y'all on your great adventure!

Enjoying your videos.....I can relate to the hub seals, nice that your had an attentive shop.

Hopefully in your case of many books, Entegra included a hard card stock of the correct arrival and departure procedures. I would hate to see a slide damaged from leveling first. It is still hard for us to do it backwards from our previous MH, but having the check list in the front drawer has helped.

I think she said they park it as level as possible, notice the block under the PS front wheel. She also said it helps when you actually bring the jacks down.

Correct Levelling

Hi everyone

Thank for your positive comments re: the videos. Just to put the record straight, we do alway bring the sides out before we dump the air and put the jacks down and we always try to get the RV as level as possible (hence the blocks under the tires). It's just the way that I edited the video - I didn't think anyone would notice...
Thanks for being so attentive.
More to follow shortly

On Thursday We go to a Spartan shop with both tags leaking.
Seems like the problem was not corrected for 2016.

It is a amazing that Spicer and hub seals have been around forever....all of a sudden a high number of the them are leaking? Just had both of mine replaced last week.

Smile Coffee Machine

Hi PhB

We have always had a Nespresso machine in our RV's in order to guarantee decent coffee on our travels. This particular machine can be found here. The reason that we always have Nespresso coffee is that we have found that the coffee served in the US is very very weak compared to the espresso style coffee we are used to in Europe and you can't start the day without a decent cup of coffee. This particular model also has a milk frother which is perfect for making Julia her mandatory 10:00am cappuccino.

Also you can order a wide range of coffee on line delivered anyway on the planet.

Hope this helps.

G & J,

Have been enjoying your videos a lot.
Thanks for posting them.

Curious, have you used the Britbooks/France Passion as a way to tour France?
We are thinking of caravanning our way around parts of France and Europe while following the TDF for a few weeks. Hope to do so in the next five years, we will see.
If you are not already aware, there is the American version of France Passion called Harvest Hosts (sorry, have not got around to figuring out links on the iPad).
Thanks.
