Does anyone out there have a Reatta or Reatta XL 39BH with the Theater Seating option? I am curious to know how much room there is to pass through with slides in.

I have the 40Q2 with theater seats so not quite the same but I am sure close. We have about an 8 inch walkway until past the seats.

Our coach came with the sofa and we replaced it with the theater seats. There's not much difference in aisle size either way. Maybe a couple inches. I don't think it's a make-or-break difference. If you can find a 39BH with a sofa to walk through, I think that should give you a good enough idea for how you'll feel about it.

My opinion is that it's definitely narrow, but it's not a problem. I can usually step over a passenger's legs easily enough. If I can't, it's a quick hop for the passenger to slide across the aisle and into the dinette. Kids, of course, will just pull their feet up onto the seat. Certainly an expanding dinette would give more room, but we make it work.

Thanks for that info. One of my main concerns about this coach (my wife insists on bunks) is the seating up front or lack of. Do you find it to be a problem for more than three people to watch TV?

The answer I gave in another thread is still mostly applicable, even though it was about the sofa rather than the theater seats. The only difference is that whereas the sofa seats 3, the theater seats only accommodate 2.

My advice for a family of five is to put the two parents in the theater seats, and then fold down the dinette. If you put the cushions on the dinette the kids can sit there, or you can leave the cushions off and the kids can sit on the floor in sleeping bags or whatever. There is still plenty of space there even with the footrests fully extended. Finally, you could put an older child, additional adult, etc. in the captain's chair.
