Entegra Reatta

We had a tour of Entegra this morning, we’re told it was OK to take pictures in the chassis area, and guess what I found... a 37ft Jayco, same as the Entegra Reatta. 360 HP, 37ft. Two main floor plans, one with 3 slides and thus a super slide, and one 4 slides. Rear radiator. On a Spartan K1 chassis. We did see the Reatta but it was inside the factory and I didn’t want to take pictures, at their request.

What is the model name of the Jayco branded coach? Since you said the Reatta was inside the EC factory, I assume that means it is constructed like an EC ( hung wall, insulation, etc ). Did you determine if the Jayco coach was built by Jayco methods or is it built to EC standards?

I like the Classic design, but I couldn't do the rear radiator doing a lot of my own maintenance. Glad to see the Classic style cap molds did not get scrapped.

They told us the name of the Jayco small coach but I forgot what it was. It is built on the EC production line and looked like it used the same construction methods. If I had to guess the only difference between the Jayco and the Reatta would be name and finish out.

From pics I've seen, it appears the Jayco DP uses the classic front cap and the Reatta has the "new" style EC front cap.

I think the Entegra website says base is &299000. It has two 15k ACs.

WE're here at LAzydays for service, on our dog walk yesterday we stumbled on a bunch of "cheap Entegra's".

They had a whole row of Sprinter based machines that were kinda nice, used the same flooring that current Cornerstones use on the slideout.

APPARENTLY, from my brief review of the specs shown on their respective websites, the Jayco Embark and the EC Reatta are identical, including the construction methods used, except for the styling of the front cap.

That leads me to wonder if either of them are assembled in the EC factory since they both use vacuum bonded sidewalls and flooring, unlike the traditional "hung wall" construction used on the other EC DPs.

I suppose it is possible to deliver the vacuum bonded assemblies to the EC factory floor for installation onto the chassis, so anything is possible I guess. Anybody there that has actually seen either model being built at EC?

I haven't see the Reatta's interior but I have driven the Embark and written an article on it. It'll be on the cover of Family RVing Magazine in a few months. My guess is that the Reatta most likely has a few interior trim upgrades to differentiate it from the Embark but otherwise they are pretty much the same.

The Embark is a nice unit. It has a similar roof construction to the mainline Entegras but does use vacuum laminated sidewalls. Jayco's goal was to penetrate the market space that accounts for something like 42% of the class A diesel sales - places were the Thor and Allegro RED are making huge sales numbers. I think they did a good job of targeting that market with a great product. Cloning it over to Entegra just opens up more opportunities to sell because Entegra and Jayco dealers aren't always the same dealer.
