Smile Entegra Reatta Bed Slideout issue- help!

Good afternoon -

I just parked my rig and attempted to extend my bed slide. The VegaTouch screen shows a “locked” symbol, and is telling me to raise my bed. But my bed is fully raised! I can’t extend the slide, or, unlock the symbol in any way. Don’t let me sleep on the floor tonight!

There is a magnetic sensor under the bed that detects if the bed is up or down and locks out the bed slide until it is determined to be in the correct position. The magnet on the top probably has fallen and is in contact with the lower powered magnet. I pull the upper magnet out and added a bit of silicone and pushed it back into the hole with some tape until it set no more problem.
The magnet set is on the side of the bed towards the front (at least in my XL 40Q2)

Late reply, but just in case others have the same problem i thought I’d contribute. We have a 2021 Entegra Accolade 37M, the 37M is the only accolade with an adjustable bed, but I’m sure every Entegra Coach with an adjustable bed is set us similarly. There are 2 magnetic sensors under the bed. On detects when the bed is up and allows the slide to go in. The other detects when the slide is out and allows the bed to go down. The first is easier to see by simply looking under the bed, mine is on the steel bed frame about left/center. The second one is harder to see, its closer to the head of the bed, you need to get down in the under bed stirage area to see it.
On ours the wires for the hard to see sensor, got pinched in the slide. All we had to do was reposition the wires, protect them with some electrical tape and stapled them so their wouldn’t get pinched again.
Hope this helps someone.

There’s another short term option… the piston ram under the bed has a pin that you can pull and you’ll be able to manually lower the bed. It might take 2 of you to raise it back up ( one lifts the head the other pushes at the foot) then one person needs to hold the bed so the sensor is touching while the other is retracting the slide.
Another option (BE CAREFUL WITH THIS ONE) is to temporarily attached the “dummy” side (the side with no wires) of both sensors, or the problem sensor to the wired side which will tell your Vega system that everything is Where it is supposed to be, thus allowing the slide to go in or out and the bed to go up or down. Once again, be careful with this option! Make sure your bed is up when you push the slide in so things don’t crash into themselves.
