Gene,
We live in Wisconsin and asked Lazydays if we could just go to the factory instead of driving all the way to Florida and back in the timeframe we have and somehow got it passed through. Then they'll go over our trade before it goes to Lazydays. When we were dealing with Orlando RV, they said absolutlely not.

Let me clarify that we have a very special circumstance as to why we're here taking delivery. Entegra, does not do Factory deliveries. They are not set up for it. Entegra was concerned that it was posted that we had a factory delivery, my mistake! We are extremely happy Entegra customers!

LOL, I THOUGHT that your situation was in working with a dealer and I really wanted you to post that lest others would get the idea that they could get a factory delivery. As you point out, they are just not equipped to do that at the factory. Maybe, if they were not selling very many coaches, they would have time to do factory deliveries but with all the coaches they are selling and the backlog (all a good thing for us as owners) it does not look like anything they will consider anytime soon. Thanks for clearing that up, it will prevent a lot of false hope for others AND help relieve at least one more ulcer for Tadd!
All just my opinion.

Tom, on the front cap, dead center above the generator is a circular item. Is that part of the Mobileye system? I just noticed it.

No, if you look real closely on the left side of the cap, you'll see the holes for mounting the PS mirror. This coach hasn't gone thru fit and finish yet. I think the circular item in the center is for the PS windshield wiper.

The mobile eye camera sits behind the windshield as I recall.

You are right. It's attached to the windshield a few inches above the center of the dash.

Actually they have been building 2013s for several months already. That being said, they are also implementing "rolling line changes" whereby they introduce upgrades throughout the model year and do not wait for a year change to put in the latest improvements. One example is the new colors, they are in the process of changing the color options and all new 2013s ordered since about late April or early May will have the new color schemes. That is but one example, they have upgraded many things since the 2013s started coming off the line.

We are picking up our 2013 Aspire on Monday so I may be able to post a few of those changes as we are getting acquainted next week. I know they relocated the front TV - Tadd was nice enough to take a few pictures for us before it left the factory. I can tell you that the pictures I got just made me want Monday to get here really, really fast!

I forgot to change my signature to 2013. we traded in our 2012 for more of the upgraded features. Gene already confirmed the 2013's have been out awhile, but the new paint schemes just came out. The changes they've been making are better and better. We got the first Ebony Blaze and the Midnite illusion was at the Louisville show. Just waiting to see the Radiant Copper.

Our 2013 Aspire just came in and and what I can see by the pictures the dealer took, the wood horizontal cabinet "tops" in the bedroom, and besides the bed, behind both captain and navigator chairs, were replaced by granite. The rear facing TV is now centered...

They were shut down for the July 4th week so we had the chance to poke around everything on our own. Didn't get to see my coach as it was out at the paint facility, but did get some updates on all the new stuff that has been added. Here's a summary mostly for those awaiting an Anthem as that was what I was focused on.

Chassis
  • Reyco/Granning front IFS axle with 16.6k lbs rating and 315 series tires (295 rear)
  • House batteries were moved from the passenger side to the drivers side front compartment behind the front wheel. Because the front axle has more capacity, they had more flexibility to move stuff around.
  • All storage bays are now automotive carpet lined.
  • New slide out tray mechanism with a yellow release handle. Don't know the brand, but trays are black
  • Anthem steering wheel is wood and leather, not sure if this is new, just noticed it.
  • Tank measuring systems updated to SeaLevel system. (great suprise!)
Interior
  • TV's upgraded to 32" LED LCD and 46" main TV, still Samsung brand.
  • As mentioned, the front TV is now centered. Much cleaner setup.
  • Blueray added to living area video system.
  • New dishwaher replaces Fisher/Pakel due to no locking mechanism. Didn't get the new brand. Also, has a stainless front instead of wood.
  • For Anthem owners, all the multiplex panels are now upgraded to the larger style from the Cornerstone. Didn't see if Aspire got the same upgrade.
  • On the DLQ and SL models the drivers side couch has been changed. No more footrests, the backrest now curves around so you can lean backward and put your feet up on the sofa to watch the main TV (facing backward), and there is now a large drawer under the couch.
  • The passenger side couch still has footrests but this may be going away as they are have trouble with how people are using (breaking) them due to improper technique.
  • Pocket door latches have been updated to a much nicer stainless piece that is easier to latch.
  • Kitchen counters are updated to a new color. More brown, less white. (only down grade in my opinion, I prefered the other color)
  • Aluminum framed closet mirror doors upgraded to wood framed.
  • Bedroom TV door changed from a flip up to a side mount open. Looks like they also kicked the TV to face the bed, but not totally sure.
Exterior
  • Awning option to upgrade to dual Girard Nova two stage awnings. I know this has been discussed, but this is the exact description in the new slick sheet.
  • Still no option for a better HD SAT solution, inmotion only.
  • Noticed that the radiator grill and rear engine cover a aluminum panels, not fiberglass, which is a good thing.
  • They had an ebony blaze coach on the lot, looks really good, much better then the drawing. The lower grey color looks brown in the drawing, but its much more grey.
Construction Process
  • They actually put air dolly's under the chassis wheels and push the coaches to each stage of the line, pretty interesting.
  • The slide out walls are actually welded as part of the entire wall. Once everything is all in place, they literally cut the slide wall out to ensure the gaps and seams are all uniform.
  • If someone tells you that the vacuum bond process is better, find a photo of how those walls are attached vs the Entegra. Between the chassis bracing, the through bolting and the way they bolt the wall to the firewall rollhoop, I can't imagine how the other process is even close.
  • Floor thickness is amazing when you see the plywood and all down with all the bracing.
Hopefully that will hold some of you over till more info comes out. They said that they are producing 8-10 coaches per week (had about 15 on the line) and that the paint process is where the bottleneck is. Also, he said the waiting list is back up to about next May. Happy waiting!
