Entegra's For Sale in The Classifieds
I just finished pursing though the Class A Coach Classifieds and noticed that there was a significant amount of Entegra's for sale.
Anyone have any idea as to why so many versus other brands?
I counted 10 in 104 different advertisements that are listed as of today. That's roughly 10% of all of the variety of brands for sale on iRV-2.com.
Is it because they sold a significant number of Entegra's when they were first introduced and now there is a surplus of them available?
Curious minds would like to know.

IMO, there are just a lot of people changing coaches right now. A lot of people with older coaches 14-17 are buying new coaches and a lot of owners with more recent coaches 19-20 are buying new coaches. Not sure why, but there is a whole influx of new Entegra owners here on the forum.
Its been very obvious the past two or three months if you watch who is posting and their awareness of their new coaches.
I think it is normal post COVID "churn"

If you recorded the details, it would be interesting to know which brands were in second and third place, and how many of those brands were listed for sale.

Just a guess and I'm probably wrong, but a highly respected Entegra Cornerstone owner has recently, and very publicly, jumped to a Super C. It could be that others are simply following his lead and unloading their Entegra Class A's before the market gets flooded.
Nah, I'm probably wrong.
Take care,
Stu

Stu, my reaction to that theory is something along the lines of, "If only I was that influential, maybe I could get myself on the payroll of one or more of the RV manufacturers."
Returning to reality, I can assure anyone who cares that our decision to move from Entegra to Newmar was not based on any dissatisfaction whatsoever with Entegra, its products, or the superb after-sale support provided by Joyce Skinner and her team. To give you an idea how highly I regard those people, when Amy & I were in Middlebury for PJ's "Entegra University" class, I made a run to Essenhaus, loaded up on multiple bags of their fine pastries, and brought it all back for near-immediate consumption by the service center and help desk employees.
If Newmar can come even close to that level of customer care, I will be a happy camper.

Larry, with all due respect, you are on the payroll of one or more RV manufacturer. Just the wrong side to make your accountant smile.

There's a lot of benefit in just in time transactions.
Seriously, I hope that it all works out well for you.
Please, keep us posted on all your Super C adventures/observations.
Take care,
Stu

I agree with the OP. Far more Entegra’s on RVTrader than when I sold mine 8 months ago.
The inventory was low last summer. When I posted mine on the RVTrader last summer I got numerous inquirers and the first person to see it jumped on it. I was truthful when I told then I had to more appointment set in the next few weeks for other shoppers.
As to why, I think Gary is correct. Several people are likely doing what I did last summer. Ordered new, sold my old one. I recommend using the In and Out program through NIVRC. That really helped me save some $ overall.

I've sold 3 Entegra's to upgrade each time. I don't see a problem with that for great coaches.

Many may be thinking like we did, that this is a good time to move on to either a different coach or to take a break from RVing. Our decision was based on the market value of our used coach. There was never going to be a better time to sell our coach. Add to that the lack of a willingness of dealers to discount new coaches. I didn’t see the likelihood of losing little if any on a three year old coach as being something that would continue much longer. Now with the high diesel prices and rising interest rates I think our decision to sell when we did was a sound one.
