Yesterday, we headed out for Summerfest. Granted its still 67 days away but we want to escape the AZ heat. For the next few days, we are at the Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort. Lots of lush landscaping. Our site has a gas BBQ with seating area. We are the only Entegra here. But there is a really nice Travel Supreme with a Cornerstone-like paint job. Regina is looking to satisfy her slots craving before we leave.

When we leave here, we plan to make our way north through Utah, Idaho and into Montana. Will head east to the factory for a PDI and then tour Michigan during August. I seem to remember there is a large gathering of 54 Entegra coaches on August 26 in some town called Petoskey.

How about sharing your own "headed to Summerfest" stories?

Karen and I left Houston last week to escape the heat, and we stayed several days in Pigeon Forge, TN before arriving in Buffalo NY area. Our new Anthem is scheduled for delivery next week, and we will join two Aspires already here in our RV park. These are the only Entegras we've seen while on this trip, but I think I may have helped sell one to a fellow camper we met in Pigeon Forge. He had a major case of ENTEGRA FEVER when we left him.

We plan to hang out here in Buffalo awhile learning the new coach and visiting family. Then we plan to explore Lake George and Lake Placid, NY areas while en route to Maine. From there we will return west through Buffalo to visit more with our son before continuing on to SummerFest. So we have a roundabout way of getting to Petoskey, but it will be worth it! We plan to stick around in Michigan after SummerFest, then south to Central Indiana for my high school reunion. Following all that, we will hop back to Michigan for the Spartan school.

Hopefully we will meet some Entegra owners along the way to SummerFest, but if not, see you in Petoskey!

By the way, all the niggling little issues we all deal with daily in our coaches have been magnified for us in our trip north in our HR Endeavor. Pagans that we are, we have interpreted every one of these annoyances as an omen from the RV gods that it is definitely time to trade this old girl in!

Don't forget we have a casino here in Petoskey....high is mid 70's today.

Tom...did you see that it snowed this AM in the Yellowstone region. As you know, I'm up North in SD. Remember, I warned you about me and cold weather, and you are coming this way

Oh, Regina didn't miss that. In fact casino night is on the Fest itinerary!

For those Entegra folks attending Summerfest.

I hope somebody posts a bunch of photos for those of us stuck at work. I'd love to see a bunch of photos of the various Entegras filling up a campground!

Please somebody take notes at the Entegra owners Q&A with Tadd and Joyce and post a summary!

Jill and I are at our summer home in Maine, with our Anthem parked beside the garage. We will be unable to leave for Summerfest until 4 or 5 days before the event, so we will be making a fast trip from Maine to Petoskey in August. After Summerfest, we are headed west to Jackson Hole, Park City UT, and Colorado before heading back to Florida.

We expect a visit here in Maine from anothr Florida Anthem owner, and we would be happy to meet up with others should you be in our area.

Wished it was a little more snazzy, but after we leave the high plains where we are now DW has a family reunion in Wichita Ks in mid-Jul (

), then we'll be off to Michigan, staying at Vista Green RV Resort near Traverse City, seeing the countryside, checking out the wineries, and playing a little golf.

Great rate for a monthly stay if your interested and in Michigan for a month prior (resort is still under development of some parts). Another Entegra owner whispered in my ear that the owner/developer is really nice and the park is quiet and very nice).

We leave August 1 for Indiana to see kids/grandkids, then to Charlotte for Spartan and back to Middllebury. The some wandering in Iowa and Michigan before Petoskey. All dependent on expected grandchild due 9/1. One of thinks we need to be there or the birth can't occur.

Sounds like our itinerary. I'm in Spartan Camp 7/22-26 and Entegra 8/5-9. Are you originally from IN?

We'll be at Entegra the week after you. We've got a daughter and family in Greenfield so that makes Entegra somewhat convenient. We'll probably hit them at least twice on the trip to Petoskey.
