Entertainment Center TV
I want to connect a Fire stick to an open hdmi on my Samsung TV but I am not sure how to access the rear of the TV. I have tried pulling on it thinking it's on a swing out mount but I'm afraid of breaking the TV. Anyone know how to get access to the TV connections?

It is on a simple mount that hooks on the top and has one screw at the bottom. It is in the center of the tv. Remove the sound bar and set a mirror right below and center of the tv. Then shine a light behind the tv, you should be able to see it. Not the easiest to get to but not bad.

I added the firestick to the matrix switcher so I can get the stream on every TV. Works very well.

No matrix in a 2015.

We have a Cradlepoint/Firefly setup. Can I do something similar to the Matrix?

Generally Cradlepoint and Firefly modules do not have an HDMI port.
Cradlepoint is the wifi router
Firefly is coach control (lights etc)

Thank you for the clarification on what each box is for. We've had the coach for 3 weeks now and there is still a lot to learn.

On my 14, I unplugged that Satellite HDMI from the white connection panel, then plugged in the Firestick. That allows it to broadcast to all 4 TV instead of just the one.
You do have to switch them if you want to watch Sat. Or you could install an HDMI A/B switch.

That’s it! I was trying to remember what I did and the a/b switch was what I did! Good memory Chuck!

As the years pass, I am forgetting many of the Classic tricks as well. I am glad you own the newer models before I do and can teach me the "new way" as you did on the 21.

I hooked a short HDMI cable up to the back of my TV. That is what I connect RUKU, Firestick, or Apple TV to. It was a pain to get to the hdmi port on the TV but not impossible.

It is a lot easier than pulling the TV out. It worked great for me as I was testing a Firestick and a Chromecast to see which one I like the best. The Chromecast is somewhere in a junk box now.
