Entry steps - when ignition on

We had a problem with our entry steps not automatically coming in when we turn the ignition on.

Steps worked properly from the door switch when opening the door. They would stay out properly with the switch by the door set to leave them out.

But the steps would not automatically come in when we turned the ignition on. We had the risk of forgetting to manually bring the steps in and then cause big damage by hitting something by driving with the steps out. We generally double check that the steps are in but I can’t swear we are 100% checkers each time we move the coach.

Problem ended up being a blow fuse. Thanks to Entegra support they guided me to the problem.

Fuse #1 (20 amp) is main power to steps. It was fine or the steps would not work at all.

Fuse #15 (5 amp) that says entry steps and seat was blown. Our seats were working fine but the 12V to bring the steps in when the ignition is on with the door closed goes through fuse #15.

We still don’t know why the fuse was blown or if / when the problem will happen again but at least for now we are good to go.

Just posting in case someone has this issue and needs a starting point.

For anyone not familiar with Entegra - That fuse box is located in drivers side outside bay 1 under the drivers area.
