Equalizer "auto level" not working
I recall some troubles encountered when reversing into a parking space, and not moving slightly forward before shutting down engine. I recently did this, and promptly found that the "auto level" wouldn't operate. I tried leveling each corner individually and that did work. Upon returning home and parking after pulling forward into position, I again tried the auto level to only find that it still is not working. Any advice?

My advice is to call the experts at Entegra.

In the Equalizer owners manual there is a section titled "setting the null". If it has not been set (mine was not from the factory) that needs to be done to have any accuracy with the auto leveling. I had to set mine twice before I got it as good as I wanted it.

There have been some other blogs regarding these types of issues. Sometimes I have to "retract all" prior to doing the "auto level" button and then works fine.

The advice to contact Entegra is sound. I have had ongoing problems with the jacks. Null has been set numerous times, pump and controller replaced, and wiring redone. Despite all this, the auto level either does not work or, when it does, the door to the rear bath willl not close properly due the coach "racking". LD and Entegra are working together to try to figure this one out. It has been frustrating to say the least.

When I was at Middlebury for my PDI, Equalizer REPROGRAMMED their unit with improved software. It cured the skidding problem we had, especially on retracting the jacks. I think it also is better for resetting the NULL.
You might want to put that on your PDI LIST.

Same here, big improvement, no skidding on the jacks. However we still have ongoing issues with the jacks not retracting fully on the first try.

While at the Entegra Rally in Tampa Ted Cook mentioned there is "new programming" for the Equalizers that have eliminated many of the problems. Might call Entegra and they can tell from the build sheet which programming you have and where to proceed from here.
Haven't heard back from you....maybe it's fixed, but the news from Tampa might help others.

Sorry to leave this hanging...issue was finally resolved by repeating "all retract" after entering my bus barn in forward direction. The "auto level" did activate and level. I have never reset the "null", but I'm not satisfied with my auto level results, as there is a noticeable list to one side. Something to have done in the future, I guess. Thanks to all who offered their help. I am always reluctant to use Entegra CS, even though they have always been responsive. That's just me...

Glad to hear back from you. Give setting the null a try, it's just a matter of holding 2 buttons at the same time...it worked for me, but did take two attempts before I was satisfied. The hardest part is getting it perfectly level using a 4 ft carpenter level, front to back, side to side. Hope the fix will be that simple.

My jacks do the exact same thing, takes two trys to fully retract the jacks. The back two jacks will stop about 3 inches from full retract. I replaced both back jacks and tried every controller that Equalizer has sent me and they still stop about 3 inches short. I have been working with Jamie at Equalizer. Super nice guy, but can't figure this one out. Next step is to go to there shop and let them work on it. So far it is easier to push the button twice than drive 1000 miles.
