Corey, What width did you wind up using? For a fact 4 inch will be minimum on mine. I did measure the seam when we got to see our Anthem. You are correct the Girards are not going to be much fun working around but at least there is a nice rubber flap to cover any mistakes I make. The second photo is the rubber flap from the Girard covering the Dicor seam.
I also think the brown Enternabond will look the best on my roof.
I forgot to add, the new ladder worked great, a lot more stable than I thought it was going to be.

Chuck, I'm guessing you will be using six inch looking at the measurement in your photo?

I used the 4 inch for the caps and have the 2 inch for around vents etc. I have held off doing the sides until entegra does an additional inspection. Looks like 6 inch will work well, but I think 4 inch will also work except in some extra wide sealant areas. Eternabond indicates that it adheres to itself very well...so some overlapping with a second strip is not a problem.

Thanks Corey. I think I am going to do the 4 inch as well. If there is a little sealant outside of the Eternabond, it won't hurt a thing as the Enternabond is mainly to protect the seam. On my last coach I split strips for the 4 inch tape to 2 inch strips for around the vents, that way if I needed more 4 inch tape I had it, however you are right about the 2 inch for the vents.
After taking a quick look at the Girards the 6 inch would almost be impossible to work around that. Plus the rubber sweeps are really going to help protect the seam exposure as well. I liked what I saw of that setup.

After reading eterna-amusing posts, I can't help but ask, is there an easier sealing alternative that won't leave one eterna-sore and still minimize the risk of an eternal-waterfall inside the coach.
On a related note for the anthem owners who didn't install an after-market ladder on the back, what kind of ladder do you have.
I will be eterna-grateful for your responses.

I used Eteranbond on my last coach and it was "do it once an forget it" for 10 years and still going strong. Personally, I don't know of anything better that will never require maintenance or touch up.
I purchase this ladder. Xtend & Climb 785P Aluminum Telescoping Ladder Type I Professional Series, 15.5-Foot - Amazon.com I used it once on the MH inspecting the roof at purchase and a couple it times at a commercial building. It will do fine for what I want on the MH and easy to store. Storage was my main concern and steady enough to get on the roof.

Thanks for the info on the ladder. That is the one I am planning to purchase. Sounds like it will work just fine for the motorhome as well as other needs.

Glad to help. Just passing on information from those that were so gracious from this forum to share with me. I bought mine at my local Sherwin Williams store so if I didn't like it I could return it. It worked out fine so no need to return it.
