Brian,
I was watching your post closely about your Hadley install since it was on my short list of add-ons. I'm fairly comfortable with the factory warranties.

I'm waiting to hear back from Angie at NIRVC re Campers Edge and Wholesale Warranties about after market mods.

If you don't mind me asking what kind of warranty did you get from Hadley on their install?

Mark

He was referring to HWH's Active Air, not Hadley. You cannot add Hadley air levelling to an Anthem.

Thanks for the correction Marc. I did mean HWH!

HWH Active add-on

I am considering the active air add-on and will probably do it later this year. I also called Spartan on how it would affect the warranty. The response I got was "If a problem can be traced back to the HWH install then Spartan is not responsible". This was the response I expected but the way it was conveyed at the time by the Spartan representative was less than complimentary. In fact they noted in my file that I asked the question. I guest I need to talk to that Spartan rep Mike in the future. However, my understanding of the Federal Law makes it incumbent on the OEM to prove any modification causes the failure of an otherwise warranted item.

I asked the question to Wholesale Warranty about HWH Active Air add on and was told it would not be covered because it was not OEM installed.

I had air leveling installed on a previous motorhome at HWH and they did a first class install. Active Air at the time was in finial beta testing.

From what I have read the Active Air is far superior to the Spartan Hadley System used by Entegra.

I have watched this thread with the comments concerning Campers Edge. After reviewing the policy, I still like the RV Protect, marketed by Coach Net. which is just my opinion. I had it on my last Coach and was able to transfer it to the new owner . Shortly after I sold the coach he had a generator issue, which they covered to the tune of about $4,000. I had used it once myself previously for a slide issue, and they reimbursed me. And yes it covers consequential if it is the result of an insured part failing. The deductible is $200.00.
