Fast cable tv question

Hello all

I have a rather fast question to ask the members. We are here in Hilton Head and connected to the cable TV. I do not have any time for TV, but my wife does. We connected last night, but could not receive any channels. All we had on the screen is “No signal”

Question: Can someone please review the attached photo and properly instruct me which buttons need to be pushed or any other guidence?

Thanks

Dr Mike

Make sure your tv antenna switch is set to cable, not antenna. That should be in a different compartment than your pic. Also make sure your tv settings are correct and set on tv/cable vice satellite.

A pic of your remote would help. Does your remote read SOURCE, or INPUT, or similar? Using these tools can help get your TV set for needed receiving.

Will have to program tv for the cable channels. Go to TV menu, then want search channels. Need to make sure on cable and not antenna when searching.

Can't read what buttons are on selector switch, but you want the one depressed for cable at the location going to be watched. Also input on TV should be on TV or something like that. Not hdmi, videos, or componet.

Hello all

Let’s bring this question to a fast close!!

We are attending the AIM rally in Hilton Head and I reached out to the Entegra service guys. I showed them the exact same photo and their answer was to turn off the amplifier box (box at the bottom), make sure the “cable” button is pressed, and then the channels will have to be programmed.
Literally 10 minutes later we were watching the weather channel about the hurricane.

Way to go getting things working.

If using cable then antenna amp must be off. Mine is above the main door.
If using antenna and we have moved I just turn the amp off and then back on.

Either way cable or antenna each time we move I reprogram each TV we are going to watch on cable or antenna after getting settled. TV source on TV then go through the process of scanning channels.
