Faux leather

Entegra is going with Faux leather in the Reatta XL for 2023. Does anyone have experience with this synthetic leather?

Faux leather upholstery has been used in every model of Entegra except the Cornerstone at least as long as they have been making coaches. I would hazzard the guess that 85% of all Entegras built have used "Faux" leather entirely. Its certainly no new adoption idea !!

The old fabrics have had issues holding up over time so they are going to back to the faux leather to eliminate the fast wear and tear that was happening to the furniture.

If it's "bonded leather", it's garbage that start to peel off after a few years or less.

IMO the only imitation leather worth using is Ultra Leather (TM). It's 100% urethane which is incredibly durable. All / most of the others are some form of PVC
Don't fall for other similar sounding names.
There are also many other terms for various types of leather that can claim they are "genuine" leather but think of them like "processed" foods or things like "chicken meal" which can claim its made using real chickens

I just had the peeling flexsteel all replaced. Tiffin sent me replacement skins, but the new dinette hasn’t been finished yet by Tiffin. I decided to have the old dinette recovered on my own dime while waiting.

My upholsterer was so against real leather in a boat or rv. Even cars she was against it, so much so I thought she was going to be mad at me for having leather in the first place. Today’s vinyl is much better and looks the same. She also said you need to be using wd40 to keep it clean. Seriously, her shop has wd40 cans all over the place. Who knew?

Ultraleather looks great, feels great and wears great. My coach is 9 years old and the Ultraleather looks like new. But there are some impostors out there that do not hold up well, so make sure you are getting genuine Ultraleather.
