When using front room fireplace with remote or manually, after you set the thermostat and the temperature reaches the desired level, how long will the fan run. Is it just until it cools off grids or is it necessary to manually turn the fan off. Say for instance you have it all set up but you just want the lighting on after you reach temp. will I need to kill the fan manually. THX.

The fan in mine, (which is not in an Entegra), runs until I manually turn it OFF.

The fan should shut off once the heat level you have set on therm dial has been reached.
When it calls for heat will come on again, here is a PDF for fireplace.
There is a thermal disconnect if heat gets to high over your set temperature.
