Well, it seems like I have also had almost all the problems recently posted here on the forum, and that is true here also.
About 6 months into owning this new 2019 Cornerstone, my Fisher Paykel dishwasher would also not open. It would not open because the top of the dishwasher would not elevate/raise up. Most owners probably know that there is a lid that raises up and down on the dishwasher..... coming down and sealing to keep water from splashing out of the dishwasher when running and then raising up after the dishwasher has finished its cycle. The lid moves up and down by two plastic support rods that are controlled by electric motors on the right and left side of the dishwasher. Those motors, and everything else about the Fisher-Paykel is controlled by an electronic control board/module that is located behind the wash tub area that you can see. Otherwise, it is hidden. However, if the drawer is pulled out beyond its normal stops, then that circuit board is accessible. As I remember, there is a single wiring harness that brings in its own power and controls all the rest of the apparatus and motors in the dishwasher.
I had, and the first repairman had, to force the drawer open when the dishwasher failed two or three times over a period of several months. It has to be forced open just to get access to controls on my model (all controls are not on the exterior of the dishwasher, but on the top lip of the unit instead. Entegra paid for two different repairmen to come to the coach and replace control boards once and to replace the raising motors another time. Calling Fisher Paykel in New Zealand was a complete waste of time and the female customer service person was so hard to understand (Kiwi English is not like American English I can assure you
) I could not make any progress with her and she was virtually useless,and when it failed the third time, I convinced Entegra that it made no sense to repair this POS a third time, and it was money wise and pound foolish to attempt to repair it, and it as replaced instead. The new one has functioned beautifully, just as my Fisher Paykel dishwasher on my 15 Anthem had worked for more than 3 years, but this unit was jinxed.
A good appliance repair shop in a big city probably has a repairman with a complete Fisher-Paykel repair kit and supplies and cans service units successfully in your coach (I had the same company twice).
