Fixed grinding noise in power steering and castlenut

This past week my Entegra was at the Spartan service center here in Salt Lake city in order to take care of the recall for a loose castlenut in the steering linkage, and for the service bulletin regarding the noise and grinding sensation in the power steering. Both were fixed successfully. Although there is no direct feedback to the driver regarding the castlenut, there is a world of difference in the power steering sensation. It is now silent and smooth as silk. Kudos to Spartan for taking care of this annoying, although, I understand, not dangerous defect in the power steering. I highly recommend to having it done.

No. They used the kit Spartan has for correcting the malfunction. I think it includes a different hose among other things.
