Flexsteel 6 way seat back

Recently had guests in the Aspire that were constantly fiddling with the controls on the 6way passenger seat. Now the back of the seat is locked and won't recline. The handle on the side of the seat seems to have the same feel and tension as the drivers seat but the back just won't budge. And of course there's no online or telephone Flexsteel support.

Anybody had a similar occurrence?

I think we did once. Keep fiddling with the handle and it will un jam

Check under the seat for a loose cable connection. In the past mine has come loose from the release mechanism and needed to be reinstalled.

Kitz, try to push the seat back forward (upright) a little to release the tension on the locking mechanism, while simultaneously rotating the adjustment lever.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. Unfortunately, none of them worked. The person that rides in that seat says it's at least in a reasonable position and she can live with it. At least for this summer's trip. Perhaps one day it will just fix itself.
