Flexsteel Seat Cooling switch - Really?

On my 2017 Cornerstone Seat Controls, and in the manual, there is a switch for "Seat Cooling". The seats covers are not perforated and there is no duct work from the AC going to the area. As far as I can see, there is no fan under the seat even to move ambient air. Anyone know what the switches really do? The switches are wired up because there are two small lights indicating if low or on high.

That is what I thought but did not see them when tracing out a short with the foot rest system. They must be tucked under something else and out of sight. Seemed rather worthless without the perforation but will have to remember next time it gets that warm.

seems to me that Flexsteel would add the electronic switching etc for features that may not be there on the seats, for instance my Reatta XL has a switch for seat heat but that is not an option on this coach.
So I wonder if the switch is there even if the 'plumbing' is not in place as an option.

So the seat cooling on the cornerstone is designed to take cooler cabin air and recirculate it up through the seat ventilation holes in the upholstery. If you look closely, there is a semi-circular area of very small perforations in the leather, where the air is directed up to cool your rear! The concept being that the cabin air would be cooler than "crack" air

No ventilation holes in my seat nor the co-pilot's chair. That is what I found rather odd. Turned the switch on and can hear something running so if nothing else fan moving ambient air up against the seat and taking some of the hot air away.
