Floor Heat & Engine Pre Heat Wiring Reversed

Well now I know why my floor didn't get warm after two days with the floor heat on. While on the phone with ECS and Firefly we discovered the wiring was reversed. I was wondering why the Cummins started so quickly on a cool morning.

Question: Does having the engine preheat on for two days have any negative impact on the engine?

No, just keeps the engine nice and warm and runs your cost up.

I don't think the Aquahot could run hot enough even come close to matching the normal engine operating temp on a hot summer day. I'm always amazed that the electronics can survive the intense heat coming of the engine.

Nope..... you just wasted some diesel fuel or electricity heating the Cummins for all of that time.

How were the wires crossed?
