Floor Plans… Bought X Should Have Bought Y
The 44-B seems to be the favorite floor plan, or is it? The red head, aka DW, likes the DEQ namely because of the bathroom configuration and the double sinks. I lean towards the 44-B but wonder about the cramped potty room and the sink/counter configuration (space) I’d be assigned to. No doubt there are pros and cons with each floor plan but are there any regrets you have with your choice and why? If you had to do it over again which floor plan would you choose instead of the one you have? Thanks ...

DEQ---no question. The single bath is fine and I like my lounge chair. Game changer, 44B in Cornerstone residential shower. What's keeping us from upgrading this fall? 44B seems to work for some, but we'd have to find a seating alternative up front (Winnebago offers a Villa double lounger that converts to bed for a rare extra sleeper we'd need, but it is exclusive).
The DEQ shower is fine (albeit a little small) as are the two lavatories. Residential just would be nicer and larger as seen in the 2015 prototype CS in Tampa.
That's only regret, if you could call it that.

Was the 2015 prototype an Anthem? A larger shower would be worth waiting for. It would also be nice if they'd put real glass shower enclosures in instead of plastic but I understand the additional expense. My Dynasty came with a $6K shower glass upgrade that the original owner has installed.

It was a Cornerstone. It remains to be seen if the shower will be in any Anthem. They may be just trying to create more differentiation between the Anthem and the Cornerstone.

JMO but floor plan opinions are going to be like floor plans, everybody is going to have one. I have the 1/2 bath, but once I move the TP holder forward it is going to be fine. I shave and I am gone, beats the mirror nailed to a tree that I used for several years when really camping. For some the 1/2 bath is just too small if on the high side of 200 pounds.
As for the shower doors, I never knew they were plastic until it was posted here and it really doesn't bother me, I was in the plastics business for 18 years If one has to be replaced, I will be glad it's plastic and not glass when the bill comes.
We are summer travelers and our needs are much different than those that are full time and spend more time inside of the coaches. We are outside more than in, so the faster we can get outside (1.5 bath) that floor plan worked better for our travel needs. To be honest, we liked too many of the floor plans and had a hard time making up our minds.

Buy the 44B and I'll trade you even steven. Wife still giving me crap about not having "her own" bathroom anymore. That said, I don't miss the Meridian at all!

I have looked at my shower doors when I see these post. They sure seem like glass to me. Is there a good way to check short of drilling a hole in one!! Noel

I still haven't looked that close, but I would say tap on it lightly with a coin. Glad to see I am not the only one that hasn't noticed what the doors are made of. The only time it would make a difference is if you use to harsh of a cleaner on it.

Thanks Chuck, sounds like glass to me! It'll be glass unless I see something besides someone's opinion of what it is. Noel

Now you know who was the deciding floor plan maker on our coach She also would not give up her full closet. Me... as long as it drives nice I can make do with any seating arrangement.
