I just got my renewal in sticker shock, looking to see how this stacks up in Florida with other owners with like same information.

Your Cornerstone is not worth $425,000 so there is no point in carrying that much coverage as the insurer will not pay more than actual value. See advertised asking prices here.

Insurance prices vary widely depending on factors such as the "home" address, driver's record, claims history and others. An RV based in one town in Florida will often be charged differently that one based in another Florida city. Therefore, exact comparisons with somebody else's insurance are impossible. The best you can do is get several quotes from several companies, based on your facts and circumstances.

We have our address in Green Cove Springs, Florida and insurance on our 2015 Allegro Bus 45LP is in line with what your quote is.

Not fun, but necessary.

Understood. The Guaranteed Replacement Cost feature of your policy increases the insurance cost. I don't know by how much, but your insurance would be cheaper without it. Personally, I opted to drop that feature in return for a premium savings of roughly $500 per year. Since my coach is now nearing 6 years old and I have had no claims, my gamble paid off.

Also living in FL, also having full replacement cost on a 2019 CS, shopped and called for a week to every major carrier. After the number of recent hurricanes, my CS rate was $3,200. Good Sam's no longer does full replacement along with several others that use to. Progressive was the best price in my zip code, which is still recovering from Hurricane Irma.

Mine went from ~ $2,100 to ~$2900 this year. I moved from a 2015 Anthem to a 2019 Cornerstone, but my impression is that many owner's rates went up markedly this year due to very high hurricane and weather costs all across the country.

And Marc is right.... you are paying extra for that guaranteed replacement cost rider.... its nice, but that is not regular basic coverage. I have full replacement coverage in case of a total loss, and know that is costing me extra money but I like the safety it provides and am willing to pay for it.

I pay about 100 bucks a month thru State Farm for full coverage which is nowhere near your quote.. maybe it’s my state I live in... it’s great coverage too..I do have a lot of other things also with State Farm so maybe that’s the difference...

2015 Cornerstone, live in Florida, ours is about the same. They replaced the windshield this year, which is about what the premium was. All good. Mike

Dirty word in this area. After over 40 years with State Farm with as many as 27 policies at one time, one hurricane and they completely pulled out of this area. They even put my agent out of business. The company that is not there when you need them in FL.

There was a small, very small discount going through FMCA. It was only a few $ below other Progressive agents bids. I chose them because of the clout backing of FMCA if there was ever a problem. I used Good Sam's for years for the same reason, but no more full replacement coverage.
