NITRHAWK may be into something. However I would by pass the Aquahot. Use the bypass valve above the Aquahot. I used a similar solution to get rid of lingering polypropylene taste on my ‘14 when it was new.

My 2015 Tiffin Bus did it in the rear bath every morning.
Never found out what caused it.

Entegra told me that it's normal and caused by the aerators - and I have sanitized and run vinegar a couple of times (although not in an attempt to cut the foaming - it's just on my list of what to do before traveling each summer). I don't get the foaming in the kitchen or shower but we have since day one in both baths. It doesn't bug me enough to nag Rick to remove the aerators. Lots of things on my "nag list" with higher priority. [emoji23][emoji23]

I have a 2018 Anthem, and the water has been foaming in the lavatory sinks for the first 10 seconds or so since it was new. It only happens first thing in the morning.

After reading this post, I removed the aerators from the faucets last night to see if it would foam this morning. Without the aerators, I just got regular non-foaming water.

Looks like the foam is from the aerators on the faucets. Probably air mixing somehow into the water stream when it first turns on.

Bill, you did the test I was going to try. Aerators screen are only a couple of dollars at Lowe's or HD. It's worth trying a different screen to see if make a difference. If not, I was going to try drilling a hole in the center of the replacement screen to see if it would cut the aeration and foaming down. Thanks for that report.

A picture says a lot. I have been through several collage chemistry classes. I have never seen pure H20 that will produce foam like that. The surface tension of water will not cause that.

There is something in the water. You may wish to get a water test sample kit and have it tested. You may need to pay for extended testing as normal sample testing programs only test for certain contaminants. What you have is not normal.

Aerator screens will cause foaming, but only to the extent that what passes through will support the foam bubbles. My guess is there is something in the pipes left from installation that slowly dissolves overnight. Some of it is probably still in the water at lower concentrations even after flushing.

Agree with above^^.

Living in So Cal and never having to winterize, I also never had a foaming issue like shown in the photo. My uneducated suspicion is that winterizing fluid residue is causing this, regardless of the number of flushes. IMO, a water sample check of the foam for evidence of winterizing fluid might answer this mystery.

Now that we have the other brand owners sharing ideas. Why is it that only the newer model Entegra faucets foam? I had a 14 no foaming. Same amount of antifreeze from the factory, flushed and sanitized the same way as the 19. Seems like all of the newer models bathroom faucets foam. I have seen a few posted that are 3 years old, plenty of time to have the water system totally flushed. Again no foaming with the earlier models only the later models.

There we go, not all of the newer models foam either. I will pull the flow restrictor out and see if it make any difference.

If your coach was winterized with Anti-Freeze, make sure that outside faucet has been flushed well, and if any of you toilets have a sprayer connected to them, make sure the anti freeze is rinsed out of those as well.

My mid bath had a sprayer, for the toilet and I forgot to rinse it out and had the foam issue until I rinsed it out.

To kill soap suds in a dishwasher, one adds vinegar. I'd try emptying the fresh water tank, blow out the lines, to include the hwh, add 3 gallons of vinegar and 5 gallons of water to the empty tank. Bypass the hwh and pump thru the system one faucet at a time until it just starts to flow, hot side then cold side. Let sit in the system for an hour or two. Un-bypass hwh and flush into it. Then flush the system with fresh water and see what you got. You can flush with baking soda if the system tastes like vinegar.
