Foaming Water
My coach is about 2 weeks old. I have run many many gallons through the city line and twice been through the on board water. First 15 seconds of water from sinks is foamy to the point of concern. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. Water does not taste funny and all filters are new and in place.

Ours still does that especially after we’ve switched between city water and pump. Dealer investigated when we picked it up and decided it was normal. Didn’t happen on our 2014, at least not as bad as on our 2018.

Is this just at the sink with aeration? If so perfectly normal
Air sucking in would cause this but would probably leak as well

Not aeration. Its tops after 15 sec or so and it is more like soap bubbles.

Is the water slippery like soap?

My 19 does it as well. I have flushed the tank, sanitized it with bleach, flushed again and bathroom faucets still foam. There was a post about a year ago, I don't think anyone posted a solution or I would have tried it. Next thing for me to try it to start removing flow restrictors. There is probably one behind the aerator screen.

Nope just foaming. Attached is a picture. It happens on all sinks. Almost like something on the lining of the pipes is doing it but as soon as it runs the water out of the line it goes away.

Did you flush the anti freeze out of the tank? If not any traces of it will cause the water to foam like that.

Flushed and flushed and flushed. Happens on city water also. Like I said it only seems to be in the line. As soon as the water that is in the line is gone so is the foam.

As Chuck said, it’s been going on a few years. My last 2 had it. It’s been talked about but no solution that I’ve heard.

Our hot water would foam every time I turned a faucet on after being off overnight. I put 8 gallons of 5% white vinegar in the system (water heater filled first), let it stay in overnight (water heater on) and then flushed the system.
No more foaming! Did have to remove the aerators on the faucets while doing this, until the mineral deposits/calcium were evacuated from the system.

My 19 did this occasionally also when we first bought it. I assumed it was leftover antifreeze in the system and completely flushed the fresh tank several times with water at my house (drained fresh tank completely, filled completely, repeat till clear) and now it doesn't foam at all, ever. I did several complete flushes.
I did not remove restrictors to get it right either.

Time to experment. There is a little gray tool in the bag of books to remove the aerator screen. Remove that and see if it still foams. Behind the screen there should be a plastic flow restrictor. Remove that and see if it solves the problem.
The ones in the kitchen sink look like this. Also corrected low flow problems.
