Footrest for Passenger

Today is my first day riding in our Cornerstone. I'm pretty average height (5'5"). But my feet barely touch the step cover. I have the seat tipped forward as much as it will go.

Anyone else have this problem?

Any solutions?

Thank you,

JJ

DW has the problem...not much can be done; however, she closes the step cover, and then she rides with the foot/leg rest out about 30 degrees. Seems to like it that way. She's same height as you.

Dave just a thought but you can have the base removed and a machine shop can lower it to meet dw needs.

My wife bought an upholstered stool that is about 5 or 6 inches tall. It is light and movable. It works well for her.

Any idea where it was purchased?

We had the same problem and I used a couple of 2 x 6's screwed together. DW is very crafty and put some nice fabric on it ... looks store bought and works perfectly.

My DW is 5'2" and her feet don't touch the floor either. She doesn't mind it as she will sit with the relined back and the foot rest up or she will have her legs crossed (Indian style). If she wants her feet on the floor, she will sit in the boot, but that's pretty rare when we drive.

I am 5'4 and I have the same problem! I get leg cramps if my feet do not rest somewhere, so I always have to use the footrest!

I don't know how they can customize passenger (or driver's seats)...might be a little expensive. JMHO

Dave, I agree, guess they could buy a much more expensive seat that had more vertical travel, but at the price point they stay in that would be very difficult to justify.

One solution

Light weight, air filled, adjustable. Far price.

DW has the same issue in our Winnebago but she's only 5'. So we carry a plastic step stool for her to use while driving. She also needs it to reach the upper cabinets in the kitchen so it served 2 purposes. It's small enough that it fits right behind the passenger seat out of the way when we're parked.

It is worthwhile to mention though...regardless of coach brand, if DW is going to drive, recommend you try the driver's seat before you purchase. While all I've seen are adjustable, not one fits all. JMHO

We have had it over ten years. We don't remember, but it was probably T J Maxx or Marshalls.
