Mine failed at just under 28,000 miles in August of this year. Spartan gave me a discount on what they call a Modine Up-Fitter Kit (new Modine radiator and brackets). Did the install myself with the help of my son.

Radiator Lost miles

Hi, we have a 2015 Aspire, had only about 1300 miles on it. The 300 we put on it. Going south for the winter & was a couple hours south of Spokane WA. Got out to check the trailer & things when noticed a drip under it. Called their after hours number & was told just to put water in it until we got to AZ. I said no, not with a 15K engine. Told to go back to the Cummins dealer 2 hrs back down the road. Took 10 days to fix it but we went home about 6hrs away.
The next time was we were in Canada toward the east coast & was fueling when noticed a drip. Called & told to go to this RV shop a couple hours ahead. Should have gone back into the US would have been faster. Took another 10 days to get it fixed. Found out they didn’t put the first one in right. They weren’t going pay for our rv space but after a strong letter they did. So far so good!!!!!
Good luck Bruce

Ours went out last September around 27,000 miles while in Bend, OR. Even though Beaver Coach Sales was booked through October, they got us in, took pictures and sent it to Spartan. Had a new radiator in 5 days and they put it in the next day. That is what I call fantastic service.

Does anybody know if/when Spartan changed radiator supplier in the new builds. I saw one note about 11/2016--implying coaches built after 11/2016 were not subject to the failures. True?

This radiator business has me concerned. On my 2010 40g Discovery on a Spartan chassis the radiator failed around the 30,000 mile mark. Spartan replaced the radiator but refused to pay for the coolant, so I was out $250.00 bucks (I was happy).
Now I have a 2019 Aspire 44R with the Spartan chassis, which I just bought new in June, and I'm so fretting a radiator problem.

Does anyone know if Spartan has had a better radiator supplier for the 2019 models?

I don't think that is true, mine is an early 2017 and radiator failed at 27,000 miles.

I think I win. Four, count them, 4 radiators on my coach in 4.5 years.

The latest I got was Modine.

Maybe 8,000, 15,000, 25,000, 32,000? Hard to remember.

First three were covered. Last one was mine.

I had 3 radiators on a 15 Anthem and guess they went out at around 7,000 and 15,000 miles, all under warranty.

Mine is a '17, in service date June 2017.

First hint I had was a trip to speedco in Oct, 2018, when they had to add some coolant.

I started looking as I was approaching the 3 year mark in May of 2019, and added coolant again.

I contacted Spartan, insisted on supplying my own photos and getting a dropship radiator.

They shipped the radiator to the shop of my choice in July of '19, job was completed in 2 days at no cost to me in July 2019.
