Foretravel v. Anthem

We looked through a $1.2M Foretravel while we were at MHSRV today. It has some nice appointments and high quality material but for equal $ we prefer our Anthem!

Maybe we're a little prejudice?

$900K buys a lot of diesel. I have found myself thinking similar, but I decided that a lot of it is that I don't care for the lacquered look furniture and some of the other high end amenities and fit and finish. On the other hand, when I win Powerball this Wednesday...well, just sayin'...

Yeah I would love a Foretravel or Prevost as well. On the other hand I would be a bit nervous driving something over a million dollars. Think of your insurance costs. If you had the extra money buy a nicer home and still drive you Entegra. There is nothing you are missing with your Anthem (and our Aspire)
Your Cummins 450 hp purrs along the highway and that Spartan Mountain Master is gentle as can be.
If we had a Foretravel I would be afraid of every intersection and idiot "texting" to his girlfriend.

Well..........just sayin......IF I were ever to leave the Entegra it would ONLY be for a Newell, far and away above and beyond a Foretravel OR any Prevost conversion. All JMHO Besides, its MADE IN OKLAHOMA.

Well..........just saying...... When we do leave the Entegra it will ONLY be for a Prevost, Liberty, Marathon or Vantare, far and away above and beyond a Foretravel OR any Newell. All JMHO Chassis made in Canada, conversion done in the US of A.

Yes, very closely for as long as I have been researching Prevost, for about 6 years now... I won't insult you buy asking you if you have studied Prevost conversions, I'll just assume you have an opinion and I will respect that. However, I have every right to state an opinion as you have. I didn't question your opinion as you have mine, I simply stated mine...

I used to like the Foretravel and thought when we got where we are now in life we may have gone to the factory and ordered one. Something changed. The prices have doubled or quadrupled. I have not paid attention to them for a few years since I thought I was happy with my old coach until I saw the Entegra line. The day I picked up my Aspire I looked inside two of them at MHSRV. I hate the lacquered furniture and the floorplans they had on the lot. I would take a Cornerstone if I had my choice. Now since I have never driven either maybe that would change my mind.

Have I told you how much I love my Aspire?

I went out and looked at Newell after your post. (I have some deep Okie roots, don't tell anyone). I was much more impressed with what I saw on their website than what I saw in the Foretravel today even if Foretravel is built in Texas.

Whenever someone says "conversion" I picture Goodtimes vans of the early 70s.

But that's just my opinion which doesn't matter because if I had $1.whatever to spend on an RV I wouldn't spend it on an RV!

Relax...guys...Pevost, Foretravel, Newell...we'll need to split my Powerball winnings Wednesday so everyone can have the one they like the best.

And Vance, your Okie roots are deeper than you think, since you live in Baja Oklahoma

People in Texas are thankful for Oklahoma, it keeps us from falling into the Gulf of Mexico!

I won't say how. ;-)

Motorhomeguy, WHOA, did not mean to light any fires, I was just having a good time and joking around a little. My Entegra is as close to the top of the line I want or would ever spend real money for , it fits our wants and needs fine. Sorry if you thought I was being critical of you, after all, to each his own I always say.

I hope there's enough Powerball to go around after the misses and I get done with the shopping spree. I would get the Cornerstone, then pull an enclosed trailer with a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti and Bentley Continental.
So if there's anything left after that we'll arm wrestle for it.

It would not be because Oklahoma SUCKS would it?

Just kidding. I hate the OU football team but my favorite race track is in Hallett, OK.
