Don't know about work camper program, but a few months ago, they were looking for ranch hands. There is a Disney job application site.

I’m sure it’s easy to find while it’s going off but where exactly is it? While in the coach I don’t hear it so I didn’t really think about annoying anyone and never pull in a campground after 8:00 p.m unless a pull through.
Thanks

The 19 has what is called a "white horn" and not loud at all. I haven't unplugged that one yet but I will, it sounds weird.
Open the engine hatch and the horn is right in the center of the cross brace. It unplugs like this. Thanks for the photo post Jim.

Your welcome, BTW, I never taped mine, it only receives power when in reverse and the plug is already pretty well sealed with no bare wires.

FW Reservations
How do you get reservations at Fort Wilderness? I've gone online quite a few times and everything is always booked...and you can't look at what 2020 would have.

X2
We go for our 5th time this coming November and for the last several trips Hilda has been taking care of everything. She actually lives at Ft. Wilderness in a DRV, and is very knowledgeable about how and when to get exactly what you desire.
Regarding the backup alarm, I have far less of a problem with that noise when it is at a decent hour.
Some sites can be extremely challenging to get into. Our last site had a trash cluster opposite the site, making the backing effort very difficult.
IMHO, planning to park after dark is a recipe for disaster. We have gotten in the habit of stopping in a KOA just north of WDW if we arrive after daylight hours. Beyond a risky nighttime parking effort, you miss out on the joys of driving into WDW when you arrive at night. For us, being able to see the park as we enter is an important part of each visit.

I guess I am not as easy to get along with. A few years ago I am watch a good ballgame outside enjoying the quietness of a nice RV Park. Then comes a Class A owner that did not know how to back his coach in about 3 PM with a d*&# constriction horn blaring away every few seconds 20 feet away. Sure ruins a good ball game.
I try to be considerate for those around me and use a Bluetooth speaker not to bother those around me.

Thanks for the tip. We've been there four times and booked each trio through Disney's web site. Can't book more than twelve months out. I will say I called the campground to see about extending my reservation and they kept telling me the park was booked, went up and spoke to the concierge who got me three additional days just like that. It's a great campground!

I agree, plan to arrive at the Fort during the day, both for the experience and the safety factor, especially in a big rig.
The Fort was developed in the early 70s when a "big rig" was a 25' travel trailer. While they've made an effort over the years to accommodate our rolling mansions, one thing they couldn't do was widen the roads. Most sites are a challenge to get into, many impossible for bigger rigs. These issues can be exacerbated when another camper can't seem to keep all their equipment and vehicles fully on their site. That said, we love the Fort and will still visit now and then even though we now live only 20 minutes away.
Minimize stress, maximize the fun. Get there in the light of day.
