We were using a short width squeegee and going side to side. Every week, I cleaned the surfaces with a half and half mixture of blue Dawn and white vinegar and put it into a sponge wand from the dollar store. We just got a water softener this weekend, this morning I cleaned the fiberglass walls and doors with the wand and rinsed it with hot, soft water. No squeegee, and no spots! So easy.

Hi Flora, I am SOLD on water softeners, but we were at Camp Entegra and my water softer is still in the storage hanger. I can't wait to get it hooked up, but I still use a squeegee.Like you said the rest of the shower is normally spot free. I won't even go into how much cleaner the laundry is Listen to me, I sound like the cleaning maid.

A little diversion from the topic...
Chuck, will your water softener be permanently installed? If so, where and how will you hook it up to the water lines? We ordered ours and had it delivered to the campground here in Aspen, and right now it is just standing outside the coach. Makes it too easy to pilfer.

I hook mine up at the outside water faucet using a small section of hose for a jumper. It will all be on quick disconnects so I can remove the softner to back flush the black tank. No pictures yets, but my watts water pressure regulator goes to the GC faucet. That way all of my gear is protected from high pressure. A disconnect connecting to the short hose. A disconnect to the softener, a disconnect on the "out" side to the MH hose. These are the best disconnects I have found. The are 1/2 inch all the way throughn o r restriction and they don't leak. 6 Piece Garden Hose Quick Coupler Set

When I want to back flush the tank, quick disconnect the softener. I am going to make a "Y" connection for the hose reel to the fresh and black tank flush today and change the non drinking water hose that connects from the reel to the water inlet. Mine taste terrible That hose will be my black tank flush hose and I will make a new drinking water hose from the reel to the inlet.

Thanks. That worked. And, I went back to check on the first one. It worked this time, too. I must not have let the page load up long enough.

This may or may not be the right place for this question - What size is the shower in the Entegras? On the brochures/floorplans they all look similar in size yet I could not find any dimensions. Thanks in advance....
We are still doing our research and Entegra is very high on our list.

I am pulling from memory, I just measured for someone that was 6'5" and asked for the messurments. It's in a post somewhere, but don't ask me which one. I think it was 44" deep in the center, 51" from corner to corner and 6'4" high at the skylight frame.

Which model(s)? There are several different sizes. Showers in the middle of the coach also tend to be taller than those in the rear, because the engine requires a raised floor there.

It would be good to get measurements by model and floor plan.

Good point, mine was a measurement from an RBQ which does have the raised floor.
