Freshwater leak
we are presently in Monterey, Ca. Have noticed a freshwater leak in the service area. It appears we had a higher pressure and that this is what caused the leak. But we have not been able to locate the source of the leak. With reduced pressure the leak decreases. We also appear to have a slow drip on the opposite side of the coach from the service area as well. Any advice would be welcome

By chance is your fresh water tank full. If so, even with city water selected on the valve, it could be filling your tank and once full it is draining out of the over flow vent. On my Aspire the over flow drain is located on the passenger side about 3 feet in front of the drive axle. This scenario is usually a bad city/fresh water fill valve or the check valve in the pump. There are a few threads on this site discussing the troubleshooting of this issue
I bring this up because you said you had water draining out on the opposite side of the wet bay. Do you have water leaking into the basement?

Year and model would be helpful. There have been a "few" plumbing changes since the "classics" and the newer 2016's.

In addition to the self filling fresh water tank issue which we have now, you may want to check the shower in the wet bay. Ensure both nobs are off and snug. Water will sometimes drip through. Also, on our 2016, there is a drain located on the bottom. I keep mine open, just in case.

Reading your post again, do you have an inline pressure regulator to regulate water pressure before it enters the coach? If not you could be exceeding the pressure rating of the pipe fittings.
I saw it happen last summer on a travel trailer...flooded the entire inside. No pressure regulator on a 90 PSI faucet that was posted with a warning sign.

Someone else asked for year, make, and model and everyone that posts should provide that information or include it in their signature. I have had a number of water problems on my 15 Anthem, but I know the 16s have a very different fresh water system than mine (saw theirs yesterday) and was amazed at how different. So, I don't feel I can give you good advice about your problem without that information.

JOema62, I currently have the same problem, a slight leak, in the wet bay when under high shore pressure. When using a 40 lb water pressure regulator before the reel, there is no leak. My problem is with the hose reel and started leaking where the shore hose fastens to the inner reel spool. You need to unwind all the hose and some dismantling to see and tighten the hose connection. It's just a typical garden hose connector with a rubber gasket. That fixed my first leak, however, there is an o-ring on the hose shaft in the reel that feeds the hose connector from the reel to the coach and it started leaking after I worked on the first leak.
Anyway, EC sent me a new hose reel and I'll install it when I tear everything apart to replace/upgrade the macerator hose. Meanwhile, with the pressure regulator on, no leak and it could be your problem. Would be nice to know your coach model and year. Good luck
