Front Air conditioner

The other day we were running our front air conditioner and water started pouring out of the front ceiling mirror. Shut it off and turned it on a while later worked fine. It just did it again. We're in Florida and it was humid both days. It's a early 2013 Anthem . Any suggestions on what to look at when I climb on the roof and take the cover off?
Thanks

It sounds like your condensate drain is plugged up. Take the housing off the offending air conditioner and located the drain port. It will be connected to a small rubber or poly hose that routes the condensate to drain onto the roof. If the obstruction is not readily recognized at the port of that connection, then it is in the hose itself. Run an appropriate length of wire from the A/C through the hose to remove the obstruction. Also check to insure the 4 bolts that hold the air conditioner to the roof are tight. They affix the A/C to the roof and apply pressure to the seal between the roof and A/C to seal out any water from the roof. Should you be parked off level, the condensate will follow the line of least resistance and would spill somewhere over its drain pan instead of through the drain port. If the gasket is not tight, that spillage would work it way into the coach.

There was a post complete with photos about a year ago on how to modify the A/C drain system to solve the problem your experiencing.

Also make sure the copper running to your coils are completely foam covered one the part of the pan that is not emptied by the pump. If not, it can fill up the bottom pan of the AC and run through the side of the squirrel cage, which is probably where the water came through if the pump is not emptying as well. Drill a couple hole in the bottom of the pan (if Coleman hasn't already made that change, which I doubt.

Wrong. Entegra drain lines do not drain to the roof. The drain line goes to the bottom of the coach and the OP should see it dripping on the ground, not the roof.

I found the post where others have had the A/C drain problem and how they fixed it. http://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/the-...ml#post1708132
