Front door lock sticking

I have seen posts for this. Now ours is doing it from the inside latch it is working normally from the outside latch, you must mess around and pull a lot worried the handle will break. I'm lubing all up if anyone has any suggestions please chime in thank you.

Make sure the 3 screws holding the inside handle to the outside handle are tight. Line up the paint lines on the outside and tighten screws. You can also pull the plug out of the side frame, use a 7/16 socket and make an adjustment on the catch. Be aware you can cause a lot of issues if you adjust this catch incorrectly. Your handle may also be getting worn and would need to be replaced.

Mine is getting very hard to open from the inside and outside, especially if the door is closed hard. It will open, just takes so much the wife can't open the door - I need to look into his as well.

Make sure your striker bolt on the frame is able to move up and down.

Make sure you keep those tools inside the coach.
Some have been locked inside too.
Tightening the screws is a once a quarter check.
Glad that solved your issue.

I always keep a torx screwdriver inside the coach so I can pop out the door lock/handle assembly from the inside. Over three Entegra coaches, we have been 'locked' inside twice, and lock outside once, with the dogs inside and the coach running! Not cool!

I also carry at least one spare deadbolt inside the coach, I've replaced four of them on the cornerstone alone. Once the mechanism loosens up a bit from wear, invariably someone (from kids to shop techs) will slam the damn door with the deadbolt extended. Once it bends, it is toast, as it will snap in two if you try to straighten it out. I also have replaced the striker plate multiple times on each coach, as it gets mangled when the door gets slammed with the deadbolt extended.

IMHO the PTL door lock/latch design is a terribly crappy design/product to put on such a high-dollar vehicle. There are some aftermarket models that purport to be "better/best" door lock, but may pose an integration issue with the existing electronics and fobs, I do not know.

Not that hard to carry spares and swap out parts once a year. (sigh)
