Front windshield replacement cost
If anyone is curious, a new front windshield installed is right at $3700.

Did you have windshield replacement in your RV policy? I made sure that I got that as well as awning coverage in my policy. I do not recall without pulling out my policy, but I believe mine was included in the bottom line number without additional costs, maybe $25-$35 extra if not included in the $1100 total.

Windshield coverage is a part of the comprehensive portion of the policy. The variable is the deductible. In Fl , its zero ( full coverage ).

Not so in PA. Half the companies I shopped with for coverage, would not even offer it. I assume after your reply, every commonwealth/state is different.

Sounds high for an out-of-pocket retail job. The "List Price" on glass is often much higher than what the insurance company pays - just as with healthcare. I love seeing a bill to the insurance company for $315 for a quick office visit with the Doctor. After the "adjustment", the doc gets about $55.

We are in PA, also. We have Progressive MH coverage and glass is covered in our policy (no deductible).

Same with mine via Nationwide. Comp-no deduct. Awning cov. is $35 in premium total. Had to shop around to get it though.

Is the $3,700 from a rv dealer or auto glass place. Found that auto glass places are cheaper by far then a rv dealer.
