Agreed. If I was ever to go to FL again, I would be busy until late in the day, so A/C would not need to work so hard.
But it would be Spring or Fall.

You got us bright on dog pounds but not mouths. Nothing freezing up - just wasn't using two correctly. Details in final reply but thanks for help and blessings on traveling with all those big doggies. Have much problems because of breed?

Thanks Jerry and Betsie! Yes, using fan too. Made other changes and think I am on it now! Ever have problems getting in parks because of number of dogs? I've had 3 rejections out of 10 attempts. We take great care with the babies, but am surprised at the number of people with 1 or 2 who don't even clean up after them. I can understand dilemma with parks and black/white policies, but.....

So many great ideas and suggestions. Two biggest things that helped 1) figured out AC Z2 and removed auto-program. Running all three on cool hi. 2) turned off exhaust fans which were sucking cool air out - odd, thought heat rises, but guess with AC in ceiling it isn't same.

Other items I did - check filters/ roof units, considered shades/awning, fans, and read instructions!

I am going to post a separate general forum question on best outside window covers but open to any suggestions private message or otherwise!

Everyone has a favorite. I have used the prompt Sunscreeen for over 10 years and very pleased with the cost and ease of installation. Most manufactures use the same materials and they all do the same job. It really comes down to the type of mount and what a person feels comfortable with.
