FYI - HEHR WINDOWS recall could impact 2018
NHTSA Safety Recall: 21E-047 was for 2019 thru 2020
We lost the master bath windows on the interstate. Because we have a 2018 we never received any type of notice that there could be an issue.
First contacted Entegra and then Lippert who did the -
"Unfortunately, due to the length of time out of warranty Lippert will not be able to assist in warranty coverage."
So I filed a complaint with NHTSA and with more info from them found this
RCLRPT-21E047-5576.pdf - Part 573 Safety Recall Report 21E-047
12/1/2020-Conference call between Byron Chartier, Robert Nguyen & Jonathan Harrison. During this call reviewed internal testing on returned field samples & reviewed sample window that was sent to Jon Harrison for review. Also discussed continued investigation of field & warranty returns. Committed that during the ongoing investigation Lippert would take care of any field concerns customers had regardless of warranty period potentially having expired.
I do not have a final outcome yet. So keep an eye on your windows if you a late 2018

The rear bath window on our 2020 Anthem suffered a rapid unplanned disassembly while underway in Florida in March this year. Called Entegra CS and purchased two replacement windows figuring the mid-bath window might decide to join his brother soon.
No one said anything about a recall or warranty. I think they were about $350@.
New ones have a different operator too. They slide up like the bedside windows instead of swing out. Still have the second one in the basement.

When it happen - I found this discussion - When Lippert did the length of time out of warranty. I filed a complaint with the NHTSA, that is when I got more information and was able to find more documentation. I would file and ask for reimbursement.

FILE A COMPLAINT! Seriously, almost no one does. When you do the write-up in the complaint emphasize the safety aspect to you and others. That is about the only way the NHTSA can consider digging in further.

Thanks for the info, this happened to my 2017 (built in 2016) so the issue may have an even larger date spread. My rear bath window operator adhesive let go while driving on the interstate, which caused uncontrolled oscillation and rapid failure of the hinge points. The window tore off somewhere around Las Cruces, but we didn't know it until arriving at our destination. Luckily it did not damage the towed or AFAIK hit anyone. I will file a complaint.

Ask enough folks I would hazard to guess it goes back further than they would care to admit. I’ve repaired all three of my 2014.

Haha, that post looks familiar.
I've had 6 of my 9 vent windows replaced under the recall and even though I asked the dealer to not close the recall, they did. Mine failed at different times over a period of a year and a half. I just temporarily repaired two more so now I get to notify the dealer and see what Lippert says.
Stay tuned, I guess.

Repaired 2 on my 14 as well. The bad seals on the windows goes back as long as I have owned Entegra which stated in 2013. It started with double pain widows fogging up, then flat out coming apart. It got so bad with the small window behind the passenger seat, under warranty were replaced with a solid glass window eliminating the sliders.
