G12 is Outdated
This morning I see that my G12 is outdated.
I don't know what the proper file is, so I emailed Firefly to get clarification.
Has anyone else received this message and performed the update?
TIA

Paul,
This may help. While all the testing for the charging issue was going on with the engineers in my coach, I head the G-12 mentioned many times. I will check mine in a few minutes. If the upgrade is there I will load it.....maybe they are still working on the charging end of the VT. I see from Hal's post, some models are still lacking.
I can say one thing the charger on the VT was totally broken. It took 3 days to get it to start working, I am guessing they are still tweaking it.
I just checked for updates. 21, B model, no updates required. Strange we have the same models, but I had a lot of updating going on at the factory by Firefly. Maybe it is something additional needed on the release version.

UPDATE - G12 Updated
Jesse from Firefly called and walked me through selecting the proper file to upload. It was the first file that had G12 and a version number in the name. After this I had to shut off the shore power and do a 12-volt reset.
During the call I asked his opinion of rolling us back to 1.4.7, which was the most stable VegaTouch build for our '21 CS 45B. I explained to him that our Winegard ODU (outdoor unit) had failed so we couldn't apply any updates. We went to Entegra to have it replaced and they applied the 1.5.4 update, which was when all our problems began.
He said we should not even see an update unless it applied to our coach, and we should only apply an update when we are directed to.
We were happy as clams with 1.4.7. Only issue that we knew of was that the freshwater sensor didn't work and that was since the day we picked up the RV from NIRVC in May '21.
I'd gladly go back to that so I could use the VT panel and app to control my awnings.
Not sure if the battery issue was there then or if it's even a VT issue.
He said he's going to discuss it with others on his team and get back to me.

Another Update
Jessie emailed me that version 1.5.3 did not have the reversed slides and awning issue. We're going to revert back to this version tomorrow morning. I'll let you all know how it goes.

Did your version of 1.5.8 still have the slide reversed? Firefly checked that on my coach before releasing it to be downloaded. I have not checked the awnings yet (tomorrow), but they said that was fixed too. Are the charging voltage settings holding on yours?

I need to do the same for our 2021 Anthem. Let me know how it goes. I was emailed a link from FireFly and instructions to get it ready for them to downgrade.

Yes, the slides were still reversed, not sure about the batteries. My awnings were an issue and after installing 1.5.8, then 1.5.3, then 1.4.7, my awnings wouldn't retract with either the VT or the Girard remote. Jesse from Firefly said it was probably something with the awnings and not a Firefly issue. I have no idea. All I know is that sporadically the front awning motor starts running with no movement by the awning and I can't stop the motor running from the VT screen, but I can using the remote.
After battling with them for hours I was able to get the front awning retracted all the way, but the front awning was still out about a foot. Went out for about an hour and when I returned the front awning was all the way in.
Now my Nebula app on my phone said there was an update to it. I thought it was for the app on the phone so I applied it, but sadly, it brought my VT back up to 1.5.3.
I am going to ask Firefly to again revert me back to 1.4.7 and I will never apply an update again.

Paul,
This update nonsense is becoming insane. We have the same year and model coaches. the new 1.5.8 update loaded from Firefly at Entegra, does not have the slide issue, nor the G12 update. I keep forgetting to check the awnings when I have been up doing the battery tests. Apparently the version loaded by FireFly on my coach and the released version are different.
The Nebula app no longer loads 90% of the time remotely and the VT says my batteries are charged when they are not, 12.4v when unplugged Friday.
I talked with Tommy Townsend the other day that is running 1.4.7 on his 20 Cornerstone B, everything works and his batteries are staying charged after being unplugged.
